I don't see shravan or Tajinder winning or evening making it to the top 3.
3 guys who I see are - Mohit, Khudabaksh and Revanth. Each has a sob story (though Revant doesn't usually talk about it), and a huge fan following.
I won't be surprised if mohit or Revanth win. Atleast these two sing well.
For the moment Revanth has the most chances - he has all what the show is looking for. But let's not forget regionalism. After having winners like Prashant Tamang, anyone can win.

If shravan doesn't make it top 3 then there is nothing different and geunine about Indian Idol..voting is as rigged as other shows :(

Possibly the only different thing they've done is made voting possible only once. But that can still be rigged. People can vote multiple times through fake google and FB IDs. Not sure how the voting works in India, is it only online? Anyways, even with that scenario, popularity and fan following is what will fetch more votes for a candidate and I don't see Shravan scoring there either. So the poor guy is a lost cause either way. So yeah, nothing genuine or different about Indian Idol. We just have to sit there and watch helplessly as genuine talent gets voted out and a less deserving person wins the title. Audience voting sucks!
Perhaps he knows about this and may be that's because he is not canvassing for votes like others do!!

Perhaps. Or perhaps he's just what he is..a quiet, unassuming guy, just coming out there and giving his best, singing his heart out and being unaffected by the fringes of the competition, or crying his heart out because he's struggled all his life and his poor family had to go through sooo much and so on and so on. Canvassing for votes may not be his style at all. But the audience is not mature enough to see through all of this. So how is a guy like Shravan whose personality and background are against him win votes at all? Just on the basis that he's an excellent singer??? Nahhh! That never works!! This is a singing reality show, people!! Who cares how the contestant actually sings!! 😡🤪
I also don't get 'connected' with this 'audience connect' concept. I have seen few saying here about Shravan not being connected to audience, not just now but since the time he sang Vaishparoopa song in the theatre round. Wonder how one can get connected to audience (if not via music) in a singing reality show.
What are the criteria for someone to get connected with audience? Looks, pride, big attitude along with sad stories?? Care to explain plz

I also want Shravan or Rohit to make it to the top 3. And because they sing well. I'm not sure what this audience connect is about. 😕 I've never been one to look for the andaaz aspect, for me, awaaz and riyaaz are what sets a singer apart. Shravan is a classical singer and hence he's able to tackle those songs with ease. And I did notice the judges going "waah waah" when he performed. So aren't they part of the audience? Are their waah waahs to be ignored? When someone like Sonu Nigam says that a singer like Shravan is a blessing to Indian Idol, do we take that lightly? I personally believe that training in Classical enables you to sing any type of song. Perhaps Shravan was a bit shaky on some numbers since that's not his forte. But he still tries. And he never does badly. In comparison, I don't know how someone like Mohit or Khudabaksh would do in a raga based song (they should have a classical round in Indian Idol). That's not to say again that they cannot win, in fact they're more likely to, since audience voting decides the result. But were it upto the judges, it would be a different story. So long story short, for me, I just don't understand this "audience connect" thing. When a singer is good, and hits all the right notes, he/she connects with me. Rohit had me jumping for joy this week, the way he sang Chalat Musafir, without one off-key moment. That is what gives me a high, not eye-contact and dancing or hooting at the audience. I know I'm probably in the minority here!😛 Yes, some singers can bring a certain extra chutzpah to the song because of their performance, and that can offer an edge, but it can never be the first thing you look for in a singer! At least not for me!😳
