Confirmed! Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are finalised for Zoya Akhtar'

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen
onscreen for the first time in Zoya Akhtar's
Gully Boy, according to a leading daily.
The plot of the movie is about the lives of
street rappers and Ranveer will be playing a
rapper himself. Gully Boy will be co-
produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh
Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment and Zoya's
recently-launched banner Tiger Baby.
The shooting of the movie will commence
from November according to the daily.
Rumours were going rife for quite some
time now about the casting of the movie.
While Ranveer and Alia were the main
choices, rumours of Varun replacing
Ranveer also became rampant.
Now it's clear that Ranveer and Alia have
officially been finalised.
Meanwhile, Alia will next be seen with Varun
in Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Directed by
Shashank Khaitan, the movie is slated to

Ranveer is currently shooting for Sanjay
Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which also stars
