I was reading HP 7 yesterday and the mystery about ariana shook me again...i was wondering what did the Muggle boys actually do to her? Like did they torture her or worse?

well...We can derive our own theories on that...
I personally felt that the Muggles scared her emotionally and tortured her young immature mind so much so that it drove her kinda afraid of n repulse everything...

i think tht they raped her..

I think they scared her and abused her emotionally.
She was only 7 at teh time, so she was probably sensitive to little things and so things hurt her easily...

Emotional torture for a seven yr old girl is sumthing that can have terribly drastic aftereffects mentally.

The boys had seen Ariana do magic and they had paniced. The were afraid and resorted to physical abuse to stomp the threat, magic and the fear they had for her out of her. I disagree with you lakshmi with the mental torture, i bet they were too afraid to even think about that.

Strangely this reminds me of Harry and the Dursleys, even though the stories are worlds apart. The Dursleys tried to keep harry away from magic and stomp the magic out of him because they were afraid is a slowly played out version of what happened to Ariana. I bet if harry had stayed with the Dursleys, he would have lost his mind, he would be a borderline nutcase.

She was only six at they time so ofcourse it would have destroyed her, what ever they did.

How does one define "mentally torturing" sumone?
a person can end up turturing his own mind , sumone else can torture u mentally wihout knowing he or she has, n sumtimes, sume tiny iny insignificant things u may do o sumone can turture that person more than u cud have forseen or imagined...whe I say MENTALLY TORTURED Ariana, I only refer to Any act that may have scared her a lot, that may have left its mark on her forever, that may have weakened and frightened her already young n immature heart...n thereby for the rest of her life left her feel repulsed and frightened to anythign and everything...
One cannot predict the consequesces of ur act..sumtimes what u may do can end up havinf a drastic consequence quite incongruous in the position but so be it...

Yes i agree with you there, and that is probably what happened. What i had though you had meant was that the boy had played mind games with her, that is in its own way mentally torturing someone.
