I didn't say she deserved it more than Sonam. Why are you taking my comment on Sonam.

If not awards, She definitely deserved a nomination. She was better than Aloo in DZ. And, for opportunities, I still think she deserves better than bimbos of bw. It's up to you who you want to put in that bimbo bracket. I didn't take any name.

I am just praising Tapsee. I really like her since chasme baddoor days. I think she is an awesome actress. Better than many current bw bimbos. Once again.. not taking any names. 😆😆

Uou can't deny that people like to refer to Sonam as a bimbo here. My bad if I misinterpreted your comment.

Seeing the hype Alia got for DZ, it was impossible not to nominate her I think. It was also a way to justify her winning fo UP.

They did the same last year for Deepika 'except Piku was also commercially viable) she got 2 nominations to ensure a win against Kangana's double act in TWMR whch was also one of the highest grosser of that year.

It's all very political and one has to have a certain backing.

Awards aren't to be taken seriously I know but iy does help an actor/actress careerwise that's why I'm elated when one of my fav wins. An award will benefit Taapse but only if t's a popular one as she's considered as being a good actress (not saying I agree lol), because for non-commercial actresses the Best Actress Critic doesn't do much for them.

But seriously as long as you enjoy the movie it's all good.
