Superb Superb post 👏👏I so agree with you.. I had tweeted similar last night after watching this scene.
I am also not a Ravish / Shashank fan, but don't even hate him. I absolutely love Atharva, & am an all out Vitharv fan but as you said must give credit when it is due & deserved... and yesterday it was!! Though when i read the updates before watching the scene, couldnt stop laughing thinking abt irony of R's karma. But when i watched the scene.. i was so far from laughing!
Loved the scene.. it was very moving⭐️⭐️ & as you said for the first time it laid an impactful foundation of a strong brother relationship that in future we all may come to enjoy. I liked the scene for both of them, not just for atharva. Both were on point...Atharva with his intense pain, aggression, frustration and angst; and Ravish with his calm composed understanding and empathy.
My heart went out and cried seeing atharva breaking like this.. his FBs of RV and destiny playing such a cruel joke on him as he lost Vividha also to the same family😭😭.. Right from the helmet hook to the last punch, the lost and defeated look & feeling was so clearly evident in his eyes and body language!! he wasn't just crying he seemed empty and hollow .. as if he had just given up on everything in life and there was nothing left!! His agony was heart-breaking, shattering. Still not over the impact it had on me.
But yesterday, I also kinda liked Ravish...his calm, stillness where he kinda understood the gravity of pain athrva was in, was great to watch. He knows that atharva's life has been filled with difficulties and maturely he understood that he isnt really hitting him but venting out his frustration on this cruel destiny which has robbed him off his entire life! He feels that the only two people that he had he has lost them too, to the same family. The dialogues were so on point... Him telling suman to not interfere and how this pain was nothing compared to what atharva ws going thru.. loved it! Even shashank's mature composed acting with pain & empathy seared in his eyes was nice to watch😃!
This scene showed me a glimpse of an interesting relationship that is awaiting us all and I am so looking forward for it to unfold! R knows Atharva would take time to accept him as his brother, he is too self-reliant. Just knowing the facts or how R helped him can make Atharv indebted but it will not make him easily love/accept them as a family.. That will take a long time and this upcoming Manali track will put us on that path!
But have to distinctly applaud and take a bow to Vikram!! He was outstanding, phenomenal, marvellous, mind-blowing👏. He was the scene stealer for me⭐️⭐️.. No words are enough to describe his portrayal of broken Atharva... I am in awe of you Vikku. Everyday you are breaking your own records and raising the bar so high that I wonder if it can be even matched!
