Opening of Xander Cage is 6.5 crores on a Saturday. Big Budget Vin Diesel Actioner and Hit Franchise in India and Deepika's addition still brought in 6+ cr less than Fast and Furious 7 (which also had a clash with DBB). Where is the Deepika that saved SRK's career, Ranbir's career & was the reason BM did 180 crore?!

Very good opening with just 3D. More than Piku and other major Bollywood films. Even BOI became positive after the thrashing pre-release. Thanks for the good news and keeping us updated.

1800 screen count is still decent, Finding Fanny made more on Saturday with less screens (going by producer figure, not trade figure) Dear Zindagi opened higher on a less amount of screens (plus female centric movies have a limited opening even with SRK) Befikre had the most disliked Hindi trailer ever on YouTube and still opened better with a similar amount of screens. A Flying Jatt did better on Saturday.

Did the Telugu & Tamil dubs for Xander Cage come out too?

Of course, but the first Xander Cage is actually one of the few English movies that was a pretty solid hit in India. It has more name recognition in India than it probably does in the US

Hindi came out in 2D. Do you really think that many people are waiting for the 2D release in English?

*sorry that's not true, I guess Hindi 3D was only released
