That was cool how anika poured out her heart in front of shivaay, a very small gesture of love for an orphan for any orphan is a very big thing, because they don't know how is to be loved and cared by the loved ones, your parents or siblings, ofcourse orphans have the most difficult past, but despite of that they grow up the move on and fulfill their dreams and try to make place for themselves in the world and their society but is not also pride in it? to grow up independently and to walk on the right path without guidance of elders and care of parents, and anika is one example, didn't she say to shivaay once"muje sirf apnay anika honay par fakhar hai" surname does not matter to anika, she too has a bitter past and faced many difficulties and atrocities but despite of that she lived"the girl who lived and survived" no matter what, what happened to her pride and fakhar when she used the word lanat??? remember how shivaay wanted to help her once and told her she's talented but anika refused to take his help, there was even a promo about anika starting her own business, that's what anika used to do and despite of all that she used to feel pride in it???

Is anika regretting all what she has done for herself??
on her own she sent her brother to school so he can get
education, on her own she grew up and on her own
she fought the whole world???

so is this all lanat???

I think as she in not much educated she misinterpreted the word 'Laanat'... she meant to say 'dukh ki baat' I guess dialogue writer ne garbadi ki. 😕

All I can say is, sometimes even the strongest people have their weakest moments. Yes she is proud of herself but you cannot say that she never wished that she wasn't alone in this world? Fighting the world is a tough job but fighting it alone is tougher.

Lanat
means curse, and all she is saying that it's a curse to be all alone in the world, and see from her POV, is she wrong?
Lanat also means it's a shame, and it's a shame that she has no one to call her own.

The one line she said yesterday, "[If you are an orphan] Aapke hone ya naa hone se kisi ko koi fark nahi padta."
That shows how much she craved for a family, a family which was snatched from her, not once, but twice. If it wasn't for Sahil, I doubt she would have fought the world like she does because she did not have anyone to live for or encourage and support her. It is hard to be all alone in this huge world, it's scary. Just imagine, no one by your side. No family, no friends. All alone. Yes Sahil is there, but he is a kid after all, right?

Yes, she is a proud girl, she is proud of herself, that is why she can walk with her head high everywhere she goes, but that moment with Shivaay was her vulnerable moment. I doubt she even realized what she was saying to him.

Yes she is proud of herself but that was her vulnerable moment!
And no matter how brave, independent and confident u are,
w/o parents life is always incomplete(or sometimes it seems meaningless)!

Very Well put...that was her weak moment wen she poured her heart out to someone she feels is her own...Hope Shivay makes her feel that she belongs there and a continuation of that scene is shown today where he says, now she is not alone, he is there for her and his family belongs to her too now! He cares for her and her being there or not matters to him the most<3

Anika said - "There is no one who cares if you are alive or not"! - This sentence says everything why she said it!

Sure she is proud of what she has become despite the odds but " har ek saans lene ke liye duniya se ladna padti hain " (I hope I said it correctly ),so it was a difficult and uphill task. So she thinks if she wasn't an orphan life would've been little bit more happier and there is somebody to tell her how proud they are of her achievements!!
I don't know how good were her adopted parents, but the Bua was certainly not the support you would like to have in the name of a relative 😆

I just want to know were Sahil's parents monsters who adopted her but never gave her any affection?
She is in mid twenties and Sahil is only 6, so even if they dies the day Sahil was born even then she was above 18, so how did she have a lanat childhood,
