RR has very cleverly pitted the two families against each other and keeps elena in her place all along. It's shocking how humans allow themselves to be manipulated by other humans.

I am only speculating. Who knows a separation of some time might allow them to reflect on the mistakes they have been making all along.

Dressing- fair enough. Mr Dixit has a bad immune system and his doctor is unreachable for the next 20 episodes or so

Talking of dressing, I like how they have dressed sonakshi in a "punchy" style this time

Thanks dq the explanation makes sense. I pity both they are caught in storm caused by others & have to pay the price! Of course the way the handle their relationship makes it easy for others to screw ot up!

I thought dev dresses the way he does now (3pice suits) because it's winter!

I hate leaps & the thought of it quite off-putting. Why would they go this stale route is beyond me. Like the pak serial humsafar in comes kid & reconciliation because of the kid! Seen that already in so many other serials too.

I want devs realization, getting together with sona & resolving his moms issues!

Hey DQ, just caught up with the episode. I kinda found it funny. Don't know where the makers are going with this. I pray it's not a leap!😕 We are missing something. I find mama, elena, Saurabh and Asha's reactions weird. Even the fight seemed forced to me. I know one thing for sure there are no accidents in this serial even stuff that appears to have no relevance to the story makes sense at some point. Let's wait for it to play out.

Hi there
I definitely found Elena's reaction out if place. Unless she is becoming a selfish so and so now

Mamaji was his usual self I felt

Asha and saurabh - i feel are so jolted right now (and that's why the slap was needed. )

You make me feel like a bad wife now. We have had such fights. A few weeks ago it was simply on childcare and it ended up being whose job and career is more important and what not.

Sometimes couples are unreasonable with each other.

This man needs to step back and look at what his relationship with his mother looks like

I hate leaps too. And this show doesn't need one. I can't figure out where the energy to fix this marriage is going to come from?

Like you said. There is more to come

Uff, I wish this was a book I could read cover to cover and then move on

I have a question. Who wrote the previous separation? Durjoy dutta or someone else?

Tell me about it!!! 🤣 Our fixation with this show and the characters is just crazy.
Oh thats not what I meant about the fight, I do that too. Dont know of any couple that does not.😃 The fight just lacked the steam that Dev-Sona fights usually have, it was like they were mouthing practiced lines. He says "ye maa ke saamne baat karne wali baat hi nahi hai" and takes her to the room where they have a screaming match that the whole house can hear??? Asha asking Dev to come back another day was like she has already forgiven him. Mamaji usually makes it a point to physically remove RR from situation where things are already nasty. Also the timing, Dev-Sona cut short their trip, ask Asha-Bijoy to come to Dixit house when they could have easily gone to meet them later. No one was really expecting mamaji to be back now. Saurabh was so offended with the car as gift for shagun, his reaction to the slap is way too mild in comparison. Despite her reservation about the character and story Supriya has always delivered dialogues with conviction but when she was talking about the sasural-maika maryada; it sounded like spoof to me.

I generally hate leaps but some stories need the leap to progress. Ishwari's problems and Bijoy's hurt are not going away in a few days, it does take years in real life too. Honestly I was expecting a leap at some point in the show but right now seems off to me, especially from Devakshi perspective. Where is the learning for anyone with their separation now, the whole cycle will be repeated after the leap!! Also Dev needs Sona when the pre-nup comes out and they need to weather the storm together. Urgh...the curiosity is just killing me!!

I too expected a leap at the very end. An older Dev with his daughter reminiscent of old times with his wife. I kind of over dramatised and thought sonakshi might die in childbirth or something. Pyar ke stupid rang and all. Word of the day. Stupid
The car incident should have taught Dev a lesson. Money and Boses are like oil and water. You don't try and mix the two.

Dev also made a grave mistake by not apologising to Bijoy for his outburst the day Ishwari had gone AWOL. Sonakshi is (over)apologetic to Ishwari when its not even her fault, dev could learn a thing or two from her in that department. Bijoy was bottling it all up

I am so looking forward to our journey to episode 250 and the 1 year anniversary of krpkab. I think the recent awards gave the makers some confidence to move the script longer.
Sonakshi's latest makeup and style isn't a coincidence. That and this lady madhu are making me think we are going to see something more. Will it be Ekta kapoor style or original krpkab style is yet to be seen. I can't see how Ishwari and Bijoy can make peace with the current circumstances. Ishwari's arrogance and Bijoy's over emphasis on Dev's perceived incompetence need time

Like you said, there are some loose ends.

Mamaji - aargh.
