Devakshi are heading towards a separation. How do I know? Mami said so... when she decides something is going to happen in Ishwari Niwas, it happens. And I shed a tear for Devakshi today. I am hopeless that way. I cannot see lovers splitting and beti ki vidai on screen without a lump in my throat.

I haven't read the posts on the forum today because I kind of know how most people will be feeling. I felt pain. There is so much in this marriage that these two are throwing away because of ego and also their unfortunate circumstances.

Ishwari did Ishwari-ing today. Brought God and her hardships into this. Mamaji was mamaji and mami was mami. However, today, Ishwari again said something quite accurate. Unfair, but accurate. When in Ishwari Niwas, live like Ishwari Niwasis. Sonakshi bringing that cheque was bound to have that sort of a reaction from Ishwari and I am shocked that Asha let her daughter go alone to return that cheque to Ishwari. Of course Sonakshi wanted to do that. Of course Bijoy wanted Sonakshi to do that. It was like you said Meg, tit for tat. But tit for tat breaks relations. I have no clue how Asha thought Sonakshi would be able to return that money in a dignified manner. The reaction from Ishwari niwais was uncalled for, unfair yet expected. However, deep down Sonakshi also knows, it wasn't about the money. It was about the slap and the name calling and there isn't a nice way Sonakshi could have returned the favour.

Mamaji, let's get to you first. Because you have already started irritating me... Sonakshi should have called you? Shouldn't you have called Vijay bhai sahib once? Shouldn't you have just dropped by to their house to try and reconcile? This is how marriages are saved when the couple is being unreasonable. Last minute dialogue-bazi is all you do and that's all you will do tomorrow.

Dev knew whenever he goes to see Bijoy; this is how he will get treated. Bijoy's reaction was natural and expected. It's just bad luck that the very day Sonakshi went to see Ishwari is when Dev came to see Bijoy.

And Devakshi argument was realistic. Dev is obviously right that Sonakshi knows nothing about borrowing large sums of monies and of course it was going to hurt her to hear that she won't be able to pay it all off. And in anger we do say hurtful things which they both did. It's just sad that no one in that household intervened and asked them both to take a breather. Did anyone notice - today for the first time Dev said he already has a lot on his plate

I was hoping against hope that Dev will baby-girl Sonakshi, take the cheque and calm everyone down. But he couldn't. Because it wasn't about the cheque, was it? It was all about Ishwari

That's how it felt. The whole Bose family is now paying for the love their daughter wanted. (And partly because Saurabh didn't communicate with his business partner).

Ishwari is an evil woman. No less than those terrorists. Her son will be fine!!?? Woman, have some mercy. Have you forgotten Dev's state when Sonakshi wasn't around him? Sonakshi's family knows everything about their son and daughter... Your son happens to love their daughter! You are the one in denial. That is the kamee in your pyar. How typical Ishwari!!

Having said that, Sonakshi and Saurabh should have returned the money to Dev IN HIS OFFICE... Not to Ishwari. Sonakshi needs to stop giving that woman so much importance. And who is she to put her parents' property on mortgage. Wah Saurabh.. wah sona! Go get a business loan from the bank.

I still can't get my head around the fact that everyone aside from Dev (whose money this is supposed to be) is making this personal while for him it was a purely business deal. He should have offered 5 cr to Vicky and a year to show him what he is made of... like he offered him the 1 month gym membership. This isn't the guy we or Dr Bose for that matter fell in love with. It's been days and he still hasn't spoken to Ishwari to try and sort the matter! Dev, thanks for not stalking her and not breaking electronics this time. You know the filmy baba ke pair pakad lunga would have mellowed things down actually. What awesome character butchery.

Unless there is abuse (physical, verbal, sexual) or adultery I am a huge advocate of trying everything else before separation. Now, I haven't felt that Sonakshi or Dev have faced either thus far in their marriage. I know Sonakshi faced taunts but she didn't quite stand up and this time she did and faced it. Based on the precap (which I tried hard to ignore), it feels like Dev doesn't want to change and expects his wife to do all the hard work. Now he wants to talk. If I am honest Dev, you got to try harder this time. I kept hoping against hope that we will see a better husband who is born out of a good son. Alas, my wishes thus far are yet to be granted. How would such a relation even ever be fruitful

PS: In the earlier episodes they had talked about paying the house rent I remember

PPS: Was it her birthday on 9^th Jan or not? If it was, wah! If it wasn't - we viewers tend to pay too much attention to detail

PPS: We got a better view of the maisonette today and the separation music (I love it)

Sona should have given the money back but not by mortgaging the house. Since day 1 of this show there is absolutely no character growth in anyone. It was about Bijoy's dignity. Sonakshi should have asked herself will she ever get respect in that house and if she wont get the respect how will her father ever get the respect?

The Dixits collectively hurt Boses' dignity so much that they are still dealing with the shock and in that process doing what Dev called "stupidity"

It was drama. However, if we put ourselves in Boses and Dev's shoes and think, the reactions were all expected (again, I am not justifying them.. They were just realistic). Imagine, we as viewers feel like this.. Someone in this situation was bound to react the same.

Ishwari - less said the better. She expected an apology from Sonakshi!
