I really have no words about today's episode. Well i have a few!

Dev is still acting clueless which is now beyond irritating. Ish is still screwing with him by playing the victim card so double irritation! Nikki is now portrayed as stupid. I mean dangal example with all that's going on!

What can I say about sona. Now she's doing the same thing when she agreed to get engaged to ritwick. Big problem for her is ego! Why would you take the risk of coming to streets. There can be other ways to payback the money. Unlike some I don't like what she did today as it is a short term solution to make kerself feel good. Wish she had this ego when she @ her parents were being taunted all these months.

Elena no idea why cvs have her happily sitting & eating. No concern for the her own family.

Overall an episode that damns dev more than ever & glorifies sona!

honestly, i liked the episode because i see it from a different perspective these days. i do not let anything get to my heart and mind.. just see if the episode grips me and it did.. in fact, i was surprised that it got over so quickly.

here are my takeaways - not doing any deep dive analysis like how most seem to be doing these days.

1. Good to see Dev and Sona, though on opposite sides of the divide, at least behaving a little bit mature. Sona picks up Dev's phone calls when she is able to and is to the point.. Dev not hounding her like during the break up phase.
2. Good to see Sona stay back at the Bose house for sometime.. may be a mini leap or whatever.
3. Nice to see Mamaji back.
4. Nice to see Sona behave like a son.. and Bijoy as a father letting his daughter take the decisions. Hats off to the CVs for this.. all these small little things get lost in an over analysis of a character (s)
5. Nice to see a precap... nice to see Dev and Sona at least not in screaming mode at each other..

Actually it feels like deja vu with scenes repeating but situations different. I think sona just wants to throw the money back at ish & maami but forgetting there is a cost to it.

Also I feel she giving dev more power. If he comes to know about the house he in his usual secretive way might resolve it.

I am waiting to see all this unfold. Yes the story has gotten more interesting with the slap.

Finally some notable progress in the story!!

That's how it felt. The whole Bose family is now paying for the love their daughter wanted. (And partly because Saurabh didn't communicate with his business partner).

Ishwari is an evil woman. No less than those terrorists. Her son will be fine!!?? Woman, have some mercy. Have you forgotten Dev's state when Sonakshi wasn't around him? Sonakshi's family knows everything about their son and daughter... Your son happens to love their daughter! You are the one in denial. That is the kamee in your pyar. How typical Ishwari!!

But you see this is not on her. Last time there was a separation she was the direct cause, this time it is Dev. No threat to her God like image so no need for any effort on her part.

Having said that, Sonakshi and Saurabh should have returned the money to Dev IN HIS OFFICE... Not to Ishwari. Sonakshi needs to stop giving that woman so much importance. And who is she to put her parents' property on mortgage. Wah Saurabh.. wah sona! Go get a business loan from the bank.

Why do I think this is Sonakshi's tit for tat tactic. She knows it is the only way to get through to Dev. Thanks to the Shimla trip, Sonakshi feels secure to take this route knowing there will be no detrimental effect on her relationship with him.

I still can't get my head around the fact that everyone aside from Dev (whose money this is supposed to be) is making this personal while for him it was a purely business deal. He should have offered 5 cr to Vicky and a year to show him what he is made of... like he offered him the 1 month gym membership. This isn't the guy we or Dr Bose for that matter fell in love with. It's been days and he still hasn't spoken to Ishwari to try and sort the matter! Dev, thanks for not stalking her and not breaking electronics this time. You know the filmy baba ke pair pakad lunga would have mellowed things down actually. What awesome character butchery.

Seeing the precap and going by the spoilers have a premonition he will be the cause for Boses losing their house. Dev is an experiential learner unless he sees the ramifications of his actions affecting his close ones he doesn't learn.

Unless there is abuse (physical, verbal, sexual) or adultery I am a huge advocate of trying everything else before separation. Now, I haven't felt that Sonakshi or Dev have faced either thus far in their marriage. I know Sonakshi faced taunts but she didn't quite stand up and this time she did and faced it. Based on the precap (which I tried hard to ignore), it feels like Dev doesn't want to change and expects his wife to do all the hard work. Now he wants to talk. If I am honest Dev, you got to try harder this time. I kept hoping against hope that we will see a better husband who is born out of a good son. Alas, my wishes thus far are yet to be granted. How would such a relation even ever be fruitful

Oh I think we will have a reunion pretty soon but by then we may see the prenup and divorce drama thanks to Ishwari's and mami's meddling. (speculation seems to be my fav hobby off late)

PS: In the earlier episodes they had talked about paying the house rent I remember

Recently execution is lacking attention to detail.

PPS: Was it her birthday on 9^th Jan or not? If it was, wah! If it wasn't - we viewers tend to pay too much attention to detail

PPS: We got a better view of the maisonette today and the separation music (I love it)

Tit for tat it is. However, if she really wants to irk Ishwari, she needs to ignore her. Pretty much have a life of her own with Dev just like Ishwari threatened. Show her what it can feel like

I for one feel Saurab and Sona should be returning the money to Dev..instead of going straight to Ishwari!

But the ego takes power here because it's like you want to give back the way you got it... it's like a Bijoy standing in front of Ishwari and saying here you go! Take your Son's money back.. we never wanted it in the first place!

This is going to blow up ... I see ego will take over!

ishwari is beyond repair... she saying Dev will be ok' Wow Ishwari are you serious.. I felt like shutting her, she's truly full of herself!!

And Elena, the least she could do is, go and talk to Dev .. if not anything else!

I think its fair for Sona to return the money to Ishwari - she bruised Bose family's pride big time, it is justified that she is aware of the money return and that too in her own hands to ensure she feels secure that Boses are not greedy (from Sona's angle).
Else, there could be more accusations that where did the money come from - may be Dev gave it to you to return it to me, he is lying anyway blah blah blah..

Bijoy screams and Asha says nothing - hence, Sona (the amalgam of the two) can give a sounding off perfectly well. Also, Ish-Sona have spent enough time together to be answerable to each other for their actions and reactions. Let Sona speak her mind and heart to Ishwari, she needs to stand up for her parents' brutal insult.
Dev is spineless, what is the point of talking to him - he becomes a mute spectator anyway and is completely partial towards his mother.

I don't think its a matter of ego but its a matter of giving a befitting reply to all the berating and insults that her parents had to bear - and with dignity.
