Earlier the filmfare awards used to be pinnacle of actor 's career in India . There used to be a time when winning one meant something but of late and specially since this pillai guy became editor , filmfare awards started losing sheen and have come down to the level of star screen awards and others😆.

So how much is mr pillai responsible ? Is he a sycophant?

Filmfare were always about sychophancy... I remember reading an article that rajesh khanna (i think) agreed to attend only when they promised to give him an award...,

Its just there is social media and people expressing their opinion freely... Before there were like 5 film journalist and 2 film magazines so everything was quiet and public largely unaware

Jitesh has been the editor of filmfare for the last 10+ years, so if he is indeed responsible for this then it started 10 years ago...

Last year Irrfan Khan was upset and tweeted about it too. He infact also did a small segment at FF awards and came back empty handed
