Hmmm, i don agree to Yash Patnaik's answer. Yes, u have to show a character's dynamism. Dev infact has been infact been most dynamic ML character. But still when u create a character u create few basics about his character. One basic of Dev's character was he never disrespected elders. This was the reason his eternal silence on GKBs ranting was accepted. But showing a ML insulting his FIL is very bad.

Many girls in our society go thru this issue that their husbands do not respect or care for her parents as much they expect them to respect the guys family and by showing such an act by a ML like Dev is propagating these things further and this ver sad

exactly have some social responsibility dude . Itne log show dekhte hai they will normalize this act that It's okay to treat daughter's family with crap pehle India main dowry,women abuse,ke cases kam nahi Hain.🤢
