Although I'm not a fan, I really felt this was one role Alia could've done, that's where they movie faltered a bit by selecting a nonceleb actress. Really felt Alia couldve doe it well

She does not have the physique nor the looks IMO. Fatima despite being really pretty has that muscular type of look.

Alia hasn't done anything of that sort to even think she could have done it better. How can we just guess like that? I don't know.. with her small structure I cannot imagine her in that role.

I'l give you the answer you are not expecting-yes she would have rocked the role and done better than Fatima..In fact, she could have played both the younger and the older versions..Zaira aur Fatima donon ka role woh ache se kar leti and the movie would have been a bigger hit but she would have overshadowed everyone in the film so Aamir din risk casting her and went for an ordinary girl 😛

She can workout ? Didn't aamir have a small frame too? Isn't he almost the same size as Alia)?

I agree. Alia would have rocked it. Alia should have done the mother, father, sister and everyone . One man show perhaps? So sad that kjo couldnt influence Aamir to take her in his film.Aamirs loss.
Aishwarya rai could have nailed it too. Dont you think?She doesnt look a day older than 19.
