I agree to this. Even 3 Idiots was stupidity, and they mocked rape🤢, it was sick.

Perhaps the reason for objection by people is the way story has been treated. How about showing it this way that Mahavir wanted a boy so that he can turn him into wrestling but he has daughters who are interested in taking up wrestling but he is hesitant and how the daughters convince him over and then he takes up to train them. Would this not be a better way or an encouraging way?

How can one change a true story ? If they do then too they will be mocked, like SLB was for Bm.

Well its inspiration from their winning medals, rest all is cooked up. The phogat's are land owners did act as cushion and the real journey was to sustain the initial success.

Anyway screen adaptions always have more positive bearing than real for eg movies on nazi movement, or any other political leader.

Nothing from real life is shown as in on the screen, there is screen adaption which is always more positive than real life for eg movies on nazi movement, Quit India movement, or life of Gandhiji or any other political leader or any other significant event.

If Aamir had asked director to change the movie to show girls wanted to wrestle, it would have been small change and even appreciated. But would it have caused people to think? a good movie needs people to think and debate.
