They mentioned their names with maya, so it was referring to flawed, not typical, unusual characters which have lil grey shades in them. I don't think they were talking about popularity or something because they skipped Kushal's name also.

I think they missed sonakshi. If they wanted to compare maya, then they should not have mentioned dev. But to be frank only devakshi made mark. If there was gopi bahu kind..I think half of viewers wouldn't be there. Myself I would not have turned on Sony channel.
