The opening of Dangal is less than Sultan mainly due to the business outside the big metroes. Sultan released on a national holiday but it was still pre Eid as Eid fell a day later while Dangal has released on a normal day. If we take out the holiday factor for Sultan then the opening in places like Mumbai and Delhi is similar as Sultan is around 20-25% more but the difference is in other places especially where single screens are involved. Out of the centres below, only Kanpur also has single screen figures while others are multiplex only and the biggest difference is there. The collections in the evening should be closer as Dangal is likely to grow at places where the opening is lower.
