I always thought how will a guy like dev dixit allow himself to be bulied by a creep like ayan after knowing his truth, not even for hiding his secret. I had that much trust on him and he lived up to it. He was going to spill but unfortunately before he could gather up the courage the doctor came. This lie and trap was not bit set by him. Not this time.
Today he was just buying time so that he can get ayan behind bars where he belongs. U could hear his voice breaking when he shouted at Sonakshi it pained him to do is.
I know now most people won't see or feel it but just see that hug today. Just the way he wraps his arms around her pulling her close to him... Just gives a cosy happy feeling. And also it shows how much is pent up inside him. Anger, sadness, helplessness, and the bhar of hiding the truth. The guy is going through a huge emotional turmoil. He looks like he just needs to be calmed down, break down once and let his emotions out. But obviously he won't he just loves his family too much and will fight with all he has before letting any sadness trouble even touch him. That hug from sona was needed today.
Just now I saw a post and I agree. Earlier sona was his go to person. Now sona is in his innermost circle, among those who he had taken upon himself to protect by hook or by crook. So he will suffer himself only to keep her smiling, and will not share his worry with her. I think he still hasn't really understood her words from the SR night about friends sharing everything.
But jaise dev hai sona bhi. She understood today that he is doing this because of some other problem and even that he has been acting weird since baby news came. Even if his mom did she knows that this is not her dev. That's why she wanted to talk and sort out. But ishwari did right. Now he wasn't going to listen. This will do him good because we know he has some plan in mind. I won't be surprised if we find ayan behind bars before the night is up. Even if they show the next day I am sure it will happen tomorrow given the pace of our show.
So what I am waiting for is Friday. U know today's ishwari's lines about lie being beautiful and truth being karva on some level was meant for him too. Even before this whole hospital fiasco happened he was shown thinking about that form that doctor had given. If he was sure he would have just gone to another one. But he had come home loojhing for sona and mom. As someone said he would have told probably if he hadn't had this scare.
And now at the risk of jinxing it, I think after he gets ayan arrested he is going to tell himself. I mean if he does explain why he did that he has to say what ayan had been blackmailing him with. But even apart from that.. I have this feeling he is going to spill. Not to mom first or now maybe but definitely to sona. Because she has already caught on to his off behavior and will definitely ask what ayan was on to.
So fingers crossed he makes the right decision and gathers up the courage.
Till then guys... Cut him some slack. Just stick on. Believe in him enough that he will find the right path.
We learn to love people with their mistakes and weaknesses right?
So why not characters... Such whom we already have made one of our own. We don't have to support him or justify him. Just love him and believe in him enough that he will ultimately find the right path and set things right.
