Rekha Bardwaj sang this song for a Pakistani film recently. The music has been composed by her husband, Vishal Bhardwaj. Her voice is very soothing and I felt a similar sense of tranquility hearing this song as I did Ishq Ka Rang Safed. Thought I'd post it for my forum friends! ❤️

Dazz...you know, the music reminds me of another one , which I am unable to recollect...it's at the tip of my tongue but just not getting it...😕
I was thinking the one from Talaash, but did not seem so when I went back & listened to it

Rekha's voice , not melodious but as Awida pointed out, suits songs that are painful and mysterious
too.
This song ...liked it for its simple tune & soothing music...nothing heavy / jazzy.
Thanks for sharing, dear.

I agree, Awida! Her voice has a very distinct quality that touches the soul. I like the marriage song too! 😃

Mish, are you thinking of a song from Omkara? I sensed a familiarity to another one of her songs, but I couldn't put my finger on it either. I think it's the depth she has in her voice that brings out the pain and the mystery in the lyrics. Judaai will always be one of my favourites by her and Arijit! ❤️

I can't praise this song enough. 😳 The most unconventional combination of singers I could have ever imagined. Seeing Mishal emote his pain and grief to this song after the leap made it all the more special.
