Ravish's character just snuffs out the magic of phase 1 by his sacrificial antics. As a viewer it frustrates me to no end that it is Ravish's inactivity the story is still stuck in this f**ked up situation( fake marriage , not Atharva's mental state) I constantly keep comparing him with Atharva. If Atharva was in Ravish's place first thing he would have done was blast RK and dadaji. If he felt his mother was unhappy with her mother he would made her realize that she deserves better than this from her marriage. And when he helps his mentally unstabled brother and stepmother he would never have been secretive about it. It is not because he is insensitive but he believes removing bandaids in one go is less painful. And about Vividha, he would have never asked asked to stay in this farce of a marriage just to coddle his mother. Because he knows he and his mother deserves better than this. He would have sympathized with her and will be first in line to get to KK. Only difference is this that Atharva would have never received his brother and stepmother with same warmn hearted mentality of Ravish. But again he would have searched for them to confront his stepmother way before RK's demise and realized that they too were victims. He would have fought for his brother 's right(this is never a selfless act but the right thing to do. A selfless act one where he gives over all his property to his brother also called stupid).
If Ravish was introduced first I would have sympathized with him. But after Atharva he just made me realize his sympathetic state is because of his own inaction. Ravish's nice guy persona and sacrificial antics become overrated because we know it could have been better. The joke that jndsd has become frustrates me to no end. They are still trying to feed Ravish's mahanatha which has become bland and too transparent. This terrorist track is simply boring and does not make Ravish more likeable. It just make it more transparent that you are trying to give more space for a specific actor.They should seriously show something else to make us like Ravish(ATM I have no idea what that should be)
To me Ravish and Atharva are two brothers where one of them is the kind and duty bound obedient son and other the interesting and naughty hell raiser every one adores.
