Boring film especially coming from Shimit Amin who only has classics like Ab tak Chappan and Chak De to his credit.
But Ranbir was sincere in his performance. Also an very risky move for a newcomer in an experimental film and that too as a Sardar. Ranbir did say he only took the film for his Nani, who always wanted to see him as a Sardar and passed away right around that time. He was extremely close to her and this was his way to pay homage to her.

Guess - That reason for playing Sardar is new to me. Thanks for sharing
Yes pace of movie was also slow. I think audience didn't connect with corporate story
