What the hell is wrong with Dadi?

No seriously, what the hell is wrong with this old woman???? What is she actually trying to do???? Why is she forcing Shivaye and Anika to do all these stupid rituals????

Like seriously, what's the need of it???Can't she see that Shivaye and Anika are not happy in this marriage??? Can't she see that her laadla grandson has literally threatened and blackmailed a girl to marry her???? Can't she see that Shivaye and Anika are in a forced/contract marriage??? Is she blind or is she brainless???

It's one thing that she wants Shivaye and Anika to stay together to respect the constitution of marriage which is logical because her thinking is orthodox..but again, it's not right bcoz Dadi has literally done emotional blackmailing to Anika despite knowing that she was forced in this marriage...It seems like she's obsessed with Anika...

And why force them to do all these rituals??? Why force them to accept this marriage ??? Leave it to the couple to decide...why force them???And her dialogues on Ishqbaazi and talk at ka pyar??? my foot!!!!! Are u really serious lady???



And the way Dadi is behaving with Tia is pathetic to say the least...Yes, Tia is bad but Dadi doesn't knows that then why she doesn't has any sympathy for Tia????She's literally insulting Tia daily which is pathetic to see...I know that she likes Anika and wants her to be her daughter in law but what is the fault of Tia which Dadi knows? ???So it doesn't justifies Dadi'actions...Her character is simply disgusting and pathetic!!!!

sorry but according to me dadi puri tarahse galat nahi hain. dadi ne pehle bhi ye dekha hain ki shivika ke beech kuch to chemistry hain. aur rahi bat shadi nibhani ki aur rituals manane ki to humesha bade bujurga aisehi to karte hain. shadi ki hain ab un donone to unko ab rasme nibhani padegi dadi ka yahi motto hain. aur rahi bat tia ki to dadi ko iss bat se jyada gussa hain ki tia janti hain ki ab anika shivaay ki biwi hain par fir bhi tia besharmo ki tarah shivaay se chipakti hain, khamkha apni nak upar karke rasmome aati hain ye bat alag hain ki uska pappu ho jata hain aur dadihi kyu yaha tak omru ko bhi ye bat pasand nahi hain ki tia ab uss gharme rahe... so according to me dadi puri tarahse galat nahi hain. wo bas ab ye chahti hain ki unhone shadi ki hain to unko ab rasme bhi nibhani padengi... aur rahi bat khushi ki to dadi ne to shivika ko jabardasti nahi ki thi na shadi ki shivika ne apni majburi aur ego ke wajahse shadi ki hain to dadi ki kya galti wo to apni duty nibha rahi hain...

I agree with you partly. I was having the same query & mentioned it as a comment in a post. And someone explained this to me really well.
See Anika is married to Shivaay but no matter what, even when she knows what Tia actually is, she is not shoving her marriage in her face. But Tia on the other hand has not left any stone unturned to tell Anika that Shivaay has accepted her as his wife with taunts, not so subtle moves & of course by trying to participate in the Rasams
This is something Dadi & OmRu has noticed. May be that's why they are biased & insensitive towards her. If she would have been pretending to be considerate of this situation, may be they would have had a soft corner for her.
Now about forcing Anika in the relationship, well just like us she knows that they love each other. She is just wishing that they realise it. I am not supportive of her ways.
Love or no love, Shivaay doesn't deserve Anika at all. She needs someone better. And the best she could do for Anika is let her go & live her life instead of letting her have pneumonia everytime her dumb head of a grandson gets manipulated & shoves her in the pool.

Kutumbh might have been a hate marriage but not a forced one. They might not have been in love but they had no mood to divorce they wanted to continue with the marriage n irritate each other. They willingly participated in the rituals

Here it is such that none want to marry each other they want to divorce n dadi already knows that

The behaviour of OmRu n especially Dadi(since she knows how SSO had threatened her to marry) is unbearable
