Begum Nawazish Ali is a very popular talk show host in Pakistan. With the increase in exchange of artistic talent between India and Pakistan, it is hardly suprising that 9X has roped her in to host a similar show. The Begum of Pakistan television is all set to captivate the hearts of Indian viewers. After all, she has wowed a range of viewers back in her home turf. This strong, glamorous woman with strong views promises to bring an exotic touch to television in India. The show, titled 'Begum', will be aired from December 15.

9X to launch talk show Begum



MUMBAI: INX Media's general entertainment channel (GEC) 9X is launching a talk show Begum on 15 December at 10 pm. Hosted by Pakistani chat show host Ali Salim aka Begum Nawazish Ali, Begum will be a tte--tte with celebrities.

INX Media CEO Indrani Mukerjea said, "Begum Nawazish Ali is a spirited chat show queen of Pakistan. She will be hosting a truly entertaining talk show on 9X."

Begum Nawazish Ali said, "Begum is a strong, glamorous and opinionated woman who is unafraid of saying what she thinks. As a character, Begum is elegant and charming, with an edgy sense of humour."

Ali Salim who cross-dresses is a gossipy, high-society lady with a sharp tongue and loves flirt, joke and banter. As the host of a similar chat show in Pakistan, she has also interviewed Pervez Musharraf.
