Have they never heard of a restraining order?

Does it not annoy anybody else that this man literally has no life and spends his entire time tormenting Maya and her mum and turning up at their house or wherever they go? No job, no life, nothing, yet they don't do anything about it?

You'd think Maya and her mum would have got a restraining order against him (im not sure how it works in India) or even got the police involved. Okay, if no police then at least security of some sort.

He seems to have got away with so much and continues to do so. Its not normal. I understand why her mum wouldn't do something about it, because hes holding something over her, but why would Maya allow him to do all this? Seeing how unstable she can get, I'm surprised she hasn't hired someone to do something about him already.

It's ridiculous, agreed. 🤪 Even if Maya and Jhanvi cannot take any sort of legal action against Ashwin (considering the way Ashwin keeps reminding Maya of her 'kala dil' and what she's done), he might have advantage of a leverage but it's beyond me to understand as to why do they have to live in the same building as Ashwin's. Why can't Maya move out and deploy strict security at her home? I think it's all on purpose to add more spice and drama to the show.

Yes agreed this is ridiculous, maybe legally she haasnt got any proof against him to obtain a legal restraining order ? Sides, judging by ashwin's character, he wud still have found a loophole or a way to torment maya...had it been in Maya's hands, m sure she wud've done everythin in her power to get rid of the guy neways, restraining order or not her dogs did a great job though 😆

The man almost killed her and she is still not doing anything. I don't know what's wrong with her. She keeps telling her daughter to move on and forget the past but she is the one stuck in the past. 😕 At the beginning of the show we saw some guards but now they have disappeared. Why don't they have one outside their house when they know he troubles them every other day ? 😕

I don't think there is a concept of restraining orders in India. I know there is something called injunction but have never seen any references to restraining orders. I'm not Indian Law student so can't confirm.

This is one of the major bloopers in the show. Suspension of disbelief doesn't work for me.
