If Anika doesn't stay in the house right now then whatever she told Richa on the day of the wedding would be point less and Anika would be shown kind of two faced b/c its like ohh so whatever you said to Richa only applies to her and not to what just happened b/w Shivaay and you. Plus if whatever she told her would of been pointless then there would of been no Shivika wedding it might of ended up being a Richa and Shivaay wedding if the girl would of not killed herself. I know this isn't the actually reason why Anika is in the house b/c she told Dadi she doesn't want to go to OM but she also left the mangalsutra on its like a part of her can't take it off b/c of what a marriage means it doesn't matter how modern she is she still respects the sindoor, and other stuff which proves Shivaay wrong when he says that middle class people don't care about their izaat she proves him wrong soo... yeah I hope that helped.

When I saw the title of your post I thought it was about Tia I was like I ask myself that question everyday I wake up but then you said Anika and I was okay here it goes so that was my post.

Her not accepting this marriage doesn't make her double faced or a hypocrite because there is always an exception for every circumstance. One would have hoped that a sensible character like Annika would understand that and apply the same cuz the mere premises of her marriage alone don't justify the worth of the mangalsutra or sindoor or whatever. Contrary to what you have said, I feel she has proven Shivaay's words right with her actions. About middle class women not caring about their izzat and being desperate gold-diggers. If Annika had cared about her izzat, she wouldn't have accepted this marriage in the first place. No MS, sindoor or any man is above self-respect.
