hello people.
me again.

thank you so much beautifuls for the wonderful welcome and the discussion and your deep thoughts on my earlier thread.
i meant to pen down part two of SuKor; Suraj actually but thought why not deal with our bone of contentions first.
if SuKor is like listening to mellifluous Mohammad Rafi soulful number; the issues of imli, baccha and above all that rape attempt is like someone chipkaoing Himesh Reshamiyya para in that song.
errr i guess SuKor is more of kick ass rock number but meri bhavnaooko samjho.

here we go:

Suraj and Imli:

they have been companions for years. he is protective towards his own. he values those who could love him unconditionally. she did. what she had for him was blind adoration and devotion. such kind of affection from someone towards you is like a powerful drug. you get addicted to being their centre of universe. you love it. and usually you take that status for granted.
he did exactly that.
he did love her. c'mon Suraj Rajwanshi actually remembered what kind of ice-cream flavour she likes. so yeah. i guess that was love.

so why he rejected her and then why that sudden realization?

men d'uh!
men and their emotional quotient.
Suraj is out and out man's man.
give him A and then B when it comes to emotions and he is sorted.
give him A square plus B square equals C square and he will be wearing the same expressions i used to wear when confronted with complex maths problems.
utha le re baba one.

no wonder he never realized how deeply he is into Imli. it took her denouncing him to make him realize that he is no longer her centre of universe and he wants to be exactly that.
and since he is not the one to handle emotions with rationale he went berserk. like a bull in a china shop hurting and destroying everything in his wake including himself.

Baccha:

i would rather if he made out with a girl because he has some feelings for her than because he was drunk and she was available. she was his pet; under his protection. one night druken stand with her would have been so wrong.

and his feelings for the child.
between a man who denounces his unborn and wants the child dead..
and a man who loves the child truly and mourns its loss with deep hurt.. there is no contest who is the real man.
Suraj made that journey from being to put it bluntly A-hole of a man to a real man.

why the baccha was needed?
would Chakor allow her baby sister to be in vicinity let alone marry someone like Suraj without a strong reason like the unborn child?
NO!

the child was needed for that double marriage stunt. and for the twist.

am i happy about this Imli and the baccha saga?
let's say i am just about as happy as a girl would be in her those days of the month. oh you get my point!

Child issue is difficult to overlook but since we can't wish it away, change it... let us rather make peace with it.

Imli issue.. call me nuts but i don't mind this. first love and all that is truly beautiful but i believe in forever love more.
a love that would enter your heart, soul and life so completely that there would no one else who could take that place for you. in this lifetime or next.

i wish THAT kind of love for Suraj and Chakor.

yes he was terribly hurt over losing imli. but he has let her go. heck he is even staying in the same house with the girl and her new husband around and he is fine with it.

i want him to tear down any guy who dares to takes Chakor away from him.
let alone letting her go and living on his own he couldn't even think of a life without her being in it.
i want him to fall in love with her THAT way.

and then comes the rape attempt issue:

oh how i wish i could unsee it. fervently wish that it didn't actually happen.
but sigh.

there is NO justification for rape or rape attempt. NONE.
such heinous thing MUST be condemned.

and i do.
why i think Suraj thought it would be a great idea (heavy duty sarcasm) to forcibly take the girl?
because of the mindset of the UP in general. how to subjugate a woman? be a man and molest and rape. yuck!
but he stopped.
imli vision? maybe he realized the 'tere ghar main maa-behen nahi hai' concept. what he wouldn't want to be done to imli he can't do to the other girl too.
or maybe and this is a wild fantasy kind of concept... he never actually slept with her. she probably was raped by someone that day and he was too drunk to protect her and hence was trying to protect her after that in his failed way. the second theory would be a huge breather for us SuKor'ian but a part of me don't want this. i can't wish such heinous crime on even Imli.

how could Chakor be so 'ok' with him even after that?
because immediately came the him loving imli truth out. his broken state, guilt, the love that he has for her sister and the unborn, the desperation to make everything right yet helpless to do so for it is too late.. and above all letting her sister go and chose her own happiness.. this made Chakor see him in whole new light.
her compassion for him won over the contempt.

but i hope; i really truly hope they talk about this issue in the future. he offers her a truly heartfelt soul rendering apology and she must let him know that it was not ok.
if she says bhul jao jo hua so hua i will personally enter the screen and sock her.
there is nothing 'oh it happens' when it comes to such disgusting deeds. so please Suraj kindly haul yourself through coals over that issue and Chakor please let him.
and then move on both of you.

but please RESOLVE that issue. or else it would remain a dirty black spot in your beautiful tale of love.

well a girl can always hope right! and so i hope.

First of all, you mentioned Mohd Rafi!! That makes me so happy 😳

I agree with your reasoning as to why Suraj thought he loved Imli. But I honestly believed it was just infatuation on her part. She was pretty quick to spew venom against him. "Even your parents don't love you." I know he was being a jerk, but I can't imagine saying that to someone I used to love, no matter how much they hurt me. Can you picture Chakor, Suraj or even Vivaan for that matter behaving that way? I sure can't. I think I've written this before, in a fanfic maybe. I find it easier to put across my thoughts via fiction, I guess 😆

And the baby was necessary for the story! Not just the swap, but also Vivaan staying put with Imli before he realised his saccha pyaar 🤢

The rape attempt...I'm not all that convinced. There was a significant gap between that awful scene and his confession. The whole thing had zero impact on Chakor except for the one scene in which she throws a few punches and feels she has to get back in shape to defend herself. That was followed by her voluntarily standing in his line of fire to prove to Vivaan she was actually in love with Suraj. So I feel that scene was put in just to boost TRPs and for shock value.

You know, in the original script for the confession scene, Chakor brought up the rape attempt in addition to him using her for fame and money. Meera said that entire monologue in an interview. But they either edited it or never filmed it. Which makes me think they'll never bring it up again and there won't be any closure. Also, Suraj felt so guilty after the pretend cheer haran thing with Imli. Even then, neither of them had a flashback to this. I'm hoping they bring it up when the weight of everything he's done to her finally hits him. And I hope he genuinely feels bad for all of it and it's not solely because he's fallen in love.

Hi.. again wonderful writing.. superb analysis.. how beautifully u analyzed all issues!!

I agree with few points.. and I respect ur point of view!!

But for me imli, bacha issue I don't know.. it looks like a poor script.. first of all it is not planned correctly.. like cv's r confused.. initially Sukor and Vivan triangle love story.. same time imraj and chakor triangle.. but later vikor and imraj they brought up the bacha issue.. Later couple swapping!!

But I really didn't understand few things actually I discussed all of them here one month back when I started watching udaan.. now mentioning few what I remembered.. actually I forgot all because I'm unable enjoy Sukor.. imli remembered all loop holes..

1. if cv's planned Sukor there r so many ways to make them couple.. why they chosen this way.. the track is good but why bacha issue.. may be u told without bacha chakor never accept Suraj for imli..but if they can other way na like imli committing suicide after she knows Suraj marriage.. chakor to save her sis plan couple swapping.. it can go that way too.. why to make suraj a bad guy.. he is bad but whatever they showed Suraj before with this bacha track.. going out of character... if he interested in imli it make some sense.. he always maintained his distance from imli..

2. even bacha issue was showed very fast.. like may 30 th I guess imli birthday.. nxt June 8 th r 9 th she realized she is pregnant.. r u serious? it is medically impossible but in serials anything can happen.. even of cv's have this couple swapping before why to bring imli bacha and made it more complicated

3. cv's ever thought how they make SuKor fallen in love despite of so many odds.. whatever Suraj done after marriage atleast justify his character.. he is like that.. but his sudden love for bacha.. I can relate that too.. but loving imli is like so sudden realization it didn't even registered in my mind.. it left like a bad taste in my mouth..

4. if he really loved imli definitely he won't tell her go and tell her do abortion.. even when imli gone for abortion cv's if they wanna show Suraj is father he definitely will stop that abortion.. but he was there and observing.. all situations whatever they show gave mixed signals like he may be father may not be..

5. cv's opened all loop holes.. may be they will close r leave it.. initially I thought they will close it.. but recently media interview how chakor told media people evryone have past but we have to move on.. she supported Suraj and she told it doesn't matter like that.. so imli, bacha track closed partially

6. one thing cv's never show imli is wrong... if they wanna show they showed it that day.. even when chakor knows imli pregnant she didn't scold her sis.. she directly went and confronted Suraj.. atleast u ask ur sis right? why u r in that situation when other person not even love u.. na they r k with Imli pregnancy..

7. if Suraj loved imli even for atleast one time he won't back off that's what I understood from his Chracter.. he always kept imli away from him.. he always showed her position but she is obsessed with him..even one night stand he didn't remembered until imli told him..cv's didn't showed What happened after that night.. early morning? it's always mystery for me.. that's why it's hard to believe Suraj is father of that bacha

Whatever u said about Sukor so true.. I too want him found his true love and never let it go off..

Ya he have to apologize for rape incident.. he hurted chakor so much.. she deserves proper apology.. I hope cv's show that..

Ya for me now imli r bacha track doesn't matter to me.. only thing if imli moved on from that she is living happily then why not Suraj.. if he is father he got that punishment he lost his child.. if ever he loved imli ok he lost her too.. whatever his faults he learned from that..he got punishment for his deeds.. so now it's time for him to start a new life

Only one person truly deserve Suraj apology is chakor.. the one person he can love unconditionally is chakor.. Hope he will realize what is true love..

Another awesome post Nimmi. I'm really trying to forget the baby fiasco.
That being said, Suraj has to apologize for the attempted rape. I can make peace with Imli and baccha issues but not this.
I really hope the CVs give us closure on this.

You have again written a very thorough analysis and I agree to some point of you

But I will never let this rape attempt be off just like that , coz this is the most horrible thing a guy let alone a husband can do to a girl or his wife 😡

And the way Suraj was feeling guilty after the so called cheer haran of Imli and never even for a slight second pondered that what he did with Chakor was far worse , made me wanna puke and wanna kill Suraj right there and then. That is why I could not enjoy that episode as I wanted to...

I am willing to forget this whole bachcha crap if Suraj apoligizes properly for this horrendous act of his 😡, you know this fiasco sometimes makes it difficult to connect with SuKor

And as you say I also believe in forever love, but at the same time ppl also say first love never dies

I want Suraj to fall so deep in love with Chakor that he forgets everything else. I want him to see Chakor only and just like u said he should tear everyone apart who even dares to take Chakor away from him

I really like ur analysis.

I feel there is no 'first love' thing in colors shows.

CVs only bothered 'things to clear' if only it requires in further storyline.

Watching some segments during sep-oct times,I feel the actors even not fully convinced as what is happening and the way story heading with.

Once marriage happens, they stick with that jodi is common in colors shows but they keep getting new people or old matters as we never feel the Jodi is fixed.

I think they restart all these dramas once KN put behind the bars,probably Ragini would try to create misunderstanding between these 4 and it will be easy for her as such complicated past they had.

If there is some twist in Imli baccha then it will come out there and Vivan will create issues once he gets to know ckakor lied him not to love him.

CVs will again create a situation where both chakor and suraj to sign the divorce papers again and they signed it willingly once but the next time the situation will be different as both might fall in love with each other yet they can't do anything.

There is endless possibilities for sukor love story and for twists and turns for cvs if they used them properly.

I've always said this if Suraj really loved Imli - then I have zero respect for him - first he's stupid enough to to have recognized his own feelings - even when confronted by Chakor on the issue so may times.
Second - marrying the sister of the girl you love while palming her off to your brother with no hesistation third - treating her and the baby so badly - fourth attempting rape of the sister of someone you love.. I feel the rape scene's purpose was to make him remember something. I don't know if he thinks that the baby is his or not - but is guilty for what happened that night. I think he saw Chakor in Imli that night. How else do you explain his intense attraction to Chakor from day one of post leap and lack thereof for imli. Remembering what ice cream she liked after 10 yrs with her is no biggie - show me one sign of physical attraction other than the night in question?
I feel all this will come out when The love story of Suraj and Chakor starts on both sides - Vj said in a recent interview - how can the love story start with the current situation. Maybe yogesh Bhai's story is not fully out - maybe imli has something to hide.
Will be very disappointed if there is no Bachua story - it gives too much credence to Suraj imli affair that will haunt them through their lives. Honestly can you marry a man who has bedded your sister. maybe you can - I cannot even think of it!

i haven't seen the serial in detail since i just started. i shouldn't have made this post without my hard and cold facts with me. i wrote what i assumed could be the case.
clearly i got lot many points wrong. but i honestly don't want to go back and watch those imli suraj scenes. don't have stomach for it.

i wanted to reply to all the beautiful detailed posts who enlightened me about the equations in the story. a big thank you girls.
