Just wanted to jump in here, Priya, hope you don't mind!

Nimmi, she wasn't referring to you! She just meant it in a general way ya know? As in "maybe one can, but I can't think of it". And I can assure you, no one is rude here, least of all Priya!

I'm hoping neither of you takes offense! You are both lovely ladies and I absolutely hate conflict (well, unless it involves taking some morons down their high horses which I've been guilty of myself *cough* Suraj bashers *cough* 😆)...that too over a misunderstanding...and between sensible people. Which is why I had to say this.

sorry aradhya. may be i reacted too strong. but i have been a part of a very judgemental forum for quite a long time and now had quite low tolerance for this.

may be YOU can... that got me.

don't mind me.. i am pretty nomadic by nature just sometimes temper gets better off me. blame it on my dealings with people on high horses *same pinch*

i blame typo milord..
fifth amendment. err other excuses and yeah.. a notoriously idiotic memory. i knew it was aradhna and somehow ended up with bacchan khandaan ki kali.

i am very particular about my spelling so just checking.

There is still something I don't get...why did he see Imli's face during that rape attempt ????

If he saw Chakor in Imli, he would have never gone so far with this act upon Chakor...at least that is what my logic sense tells me

Why when he attempted that horrible act, why did he see Imli and stopped inmmediately ?????

Also if Suraj was really in love with Imli why did he marry her off to his brother as if nothing happened ???? I don't think its just becoz he hated Chakor so much and wanted to punish her by hurting her sister, coz if that is the case, he's a bigger **shole than I thought

And if he was not in love with Imli, then why did he want her back so desperately

There are so many loopholes in this story which don't make sense at all

In the end he lets Imli go, but the way he tries to convince Chakor to leave Vivaan for Imli is also so strange...

And I am sure that the lives of these 4 will be stirred around again once KNR is in jail with his gang..., otherwise there won't be any story to tell...

Nimmi - so sorry that I upset you. Aradhana clarified it spot on - it was not personal at all...this is what happens when you type up a reply on your phone while standing in line in the cafeteria at work.

It was meant to be a generic maybe one can - and not specifically you.

Actually I've been pretty excited for your entrance in the forum...specifically at a time when the forum was kind of dead... you've managed to rouse up a fair amount of excitement...with your insightful posts. So keep your posts coming...there's nothing I enjoy more than a rational debate.

Also I most definitely am in the minority with my views on the story to date - and could very well turn out to be wrong with my take. But this is what I get from watching the show and the forum is just a place to share my thoughts.

Esha - it has to be that he either saw Imli because he loved her and pulled back from Chakor out of his realization of love for Imli OR as I saw it - he saw Imli and pulled back because he remembered something and also because there is no way he could have gone the full way with Imli.

Imli face - I've said this many times before was...shown as 'calculating' in the scene...not filled with love...now why is that?

Also with the current storyline of Imli going to the extent of threatening Raunak at gunpoint to get Vivaan a job...its not unlikely that she could have been deceitful here as well.

Suraj definitely is hiding something...he refused to answer the director...looked uncomfortable and angry rather than ashamed that day...looked uncomfortable when Chakor asked him if he was hiding something...also when Yogesh bhai came up - Suraj said - the whole story could come out...was he only referencing the bet or was there more?

More than anything Suraj comes out better if he was not in love with Imli - all the choices he made are better explained as out of guilt for imli or a strong attraction for Chakor...rather than a stupid person who failed to recognize his own love. It shows him as the bigger person as opposed to the weak and whiny person we now see. Chakor calls him Pakhandi - two faced - could it be he portrays a bad face when he has actually been good where it mattered?

Aradhana mentioned it as well - Chakor was the first to spot his goodness. But the extent to which she extolls his goodness with Imli - I have not seen that justified in the show.

You know this whole love saga of ImRaj is just like a bad taste in the mouth and yeah like a bad taste in SuKor story. Then we have the rape attempt, for which Suraj never felt really sorry or ashamed if I can remember. Plsss correct me if I am wrong someone ...if he never felt ashamed for that attempt, do you really think he would be ashamed abt the Imli/ bachcha drama shit ????
And these disconnections in the story makes it sometimes hard to connect to SuKor...
Maybe it will come once Suraj falls in love for real with Chakor, which I don't see happening anytime soon. Instead it looks like they wanna make chakor some sort of scapegoat when I see her reactions towards suraj and his safety. Her desperation for him is weird...instead of seeing suraj getting all desperate ...
Becoz of this haywire in storyline I stick with my theory that the final couples were decided after this ImRaj crap track and NOT any time before, otherwise I and I think many of us cannot explain this whole love drama of Suraj and his devi imli
