Mehak,Mrs.Khannas and a man.

I was stunned with Ajay's antic yesterday.This snake is becoming more poisonous day by day. He didn't bother after making Mehak bleed.(am skipping any symbolism connected to to bangles breaking, hangover of too many BW movies😆) .No wonder Shauriya couldn't bear it any more and yelled at her.Apart from his possessiveness , I think he was fuming at his inability to stop another abuser.He looked like the hapless son beseeching both his moms to stop fasting for a worthless man.
Absolutely loved his talk with Karuna, I think his frustration at what Mehak is doing was real,I won't put everything he said under denial-mode.There's more to it.After seeing bad marriages all around him and good women like his Moms enabling his father's criminal behaviour & choosing to suffer , he has definite ideas about how things can be and shouldn't be in a marriage. I don't think he'll offer marriage to Mehak to take revenge or just to shut up people, got to be something bigger for him to take the plunge.

After seeing his criminal father in Mehak, i think he is seeing the self-sacrificing side of his mothers in her.The father's face brought out the beast in him, i hope the mothers' face brings out the protector in him.

Poor Mehak!She has resigned herself to the life that her Mom&Chachi lived/live, cook,clean be at the beck & call call of a man.She only wants some love, other than that, she is prepared to put up with crap for the sake of peace.But our girl has limits for taking crap and when Ajay goes overboard, which I think, will be the revelation of his cheating side,she'll standup for herself.(Promo says so)And that's what our man wants.

P.S-I'm back to giving Shaurie the benefit of doubt after y'day's epi.😆

Hey I too am backing Shaurya Khanna now. He has softened, maybe a little. This behaviour is not out of place because that's how he is with his mother and naani. The hug too is in keeping with the way he shows them affection.

Hi Sims, I think Shaurya has two images of women. Either they are the scheming ambitious money grabbers, or self-sacrificing types like his mother. He has a hard time with both. He feels frustrated but wants to save the self-sacrificers. He feels disgust for the money-grabbers.

He shifts Mehek from one category to another. He has softened towards her here but has lost respect for her. Before he thought she was an opportunist. At that time he commented on hating her face. Now as his mother compliments Mehek he silently acquiesces.

The challenge and I think the CVs will take it, is to make Mehek strong but nurturing too. That is why the scene when she offers first aid to Shaurya was so nice. She took charge and was also nurturing. Shaurya softened there.

So true and he is surrounded by two of each category in his life! Mami,Shruti- the money grabbers and his moms&his Nan on the sacrificing side. I think his disgust for the money grabbers comes from his father and what he had done to him & his Mom.
Mehak will have to be a strong woman who fights for what's right and also upholds her values. I think that's why he picks up her sandals after her show of strength when she breaks off the marriage.
@bold-Shaurya needs an iron hand with velvet gloves😆
