Infertility Track - how do you want it to be handled

After yesterdays speech by Ishu , I felt I needed to know how each of you would want the CV team to handle infertility track

For me ...I want Sona to get to know abt her health issue first . She should later confront Dev abt the same . He should give Sona proper justification as to why he had not told her abt it before marriage.

He should make her promise that she will not discuss this with any one until he tells her to...in case any one finds out she should let him know...and they should take medical opinion...start medication and treatment for the same

This one issue should that link that binds Sona and Dev deeply...one that can be called theirs and no one else has a stake in this...their affection , trust ,understand and above all respect for each other should grow during this track...

By the time they disclose to the family , either she should be carrying his child thru IVF /IUI or they should have come to a decision of going for a Surrogacy or adoption..When they disclose it , it should be done to both side of the family at the same time as their joint decision...

This should be a turning point in Dev and Sona's relationship...where each and every person..including Bijoy and Ishu understands the depth of their matured relationship..and has no other go but to respect their decision and leave it at that .

Now your ideas plsss

PS : I want this track to be handled with care , respect and sensitivity by the CV team. This track in no way should bring pain and misery to those millions of ppl who are not able to conceive rather it should give them hope in life . This track should also educate ppl that beings parents means not just giving birth but bringing them up too...This track in no way should be seen as encouragement for ppl like GKB/Neha to taunt who cant conceive .

CV Team please remember and consider the larger audience of this show...also you have a social responsibility while you broadcast a show ...hence please handle this one with at most care .

I totally agree with your thoughts. so far Dev has never stood up for Sona. Standing up doesnt mean fighting with your mom. Its respecting her thoughts as a person and accomodating her.

Well from long term point of view for once I want an Indian Tele show female lead not to have a baby. It's time we highlight that ability to have a baby has nothing to do with a woman being complete etc.


In a more granular level I more or less agree with yours. Definitely should have the confrontation followed by Dev's unconditional apology and Sona's forgiveness because it's their journey together ! And then should check with some top level doctors of Asia or the world and taking their advice if there is any chance to that, and if not, I want them to stop trying further and adopt a baby if that's the goal to complete their family 😊 I know many couples today are undergoing different techniques etc to conceive, but I have closely observed some of my nearest relatives (my bhabhi and bhabhi-in-law) going through that treatment ! It's so painful and horrible that it's really scary and sometimes takes a huge toll on the mother. A new unborn (in fact non-existent during the treatment prior to conceiving) life cannot become more important than the living middle-aged woman carrying that child ! I dont see any point in that enormous torture personally when we can have a wonderful blissful family even with an adopted child 👍🏼 Hope they make this show a pathbreaker and show this track as above... It should be Dev and Sona's decision to give a homeless child a family and without any interference of Ishwari in that decision.. So waiting to see the polar opposite reactions of the Boses and Dixits on the kid as well 😳

Infertility is a very very sensitive topic and I love what each of you wrote as to the way it will be good if it is handled.👏

I wish they portray what you have written but the chances are nil. as you tightly said for TRP they have to shuw lots of creepy stuff. The way Dev's character is moulded after marriage he vl leave Sona if his mother ask him to do so. First they have to show chatacter growth of dev whom they have mercilessly assassinated. I miis Dev Dixit the business tycoon avatar which v get to see in the first 100 episodes. The cvs can broach the infertility topic only after unravelling umpteenth issues which is left unattended.

I really don't want infertility track right now as it doesn't make sense.And I know this track was placed as Dev's redemption but I don't want him to just stand up for her then it needs to take a gradual growth in his character first he has to man up himself and be a better husband,brother, BIL ,SIL.The infertility track can be beautiful it is something related to both of them as a couple and they should solve it together.I want this track after prenup and after all the subplots opened is closed.And please show some growth in Dev's character I can't see him this way 😕 😭
