I remember the time before breakup, when Sona was trying to learn cooking to make Ishwari happy and one day she was helping Asha in the kitchen,Bijoy's first reaction was "Why are you changing yourself for them?" Now,Sona never did cooking before and Asha was always their to cook. And even Dev also never forced her to learn and he once said that "I will help you in the kitchen" If I am not wrong and when Sona came to Dixit house after marriage, Ishwari also never forced her to learn cooking although her real intention was different but still Sona is learning but it is not shown in the show that she is cooking daily before going to office,have only seen her serving everyone on the dining table.

Dev never managed his wardrobe but he knows how to make a Sand-witch which Sona didn't know (remember when Dev-Sona were locked in the Bose house,Dev made a Sand-witch and asked Sona to help him) Now,Dev never folded even his handkerchief before forget about managing wardrobe,ironing clothes and his mother was always their to manage same. And if at all Sona wanted Dev to become a bit independent,from day one only she should have said to Dev that I will help you in managing wardrobe till you learn,she herself assumed that Dev has started managing everything properly.Like Sona never cooked before marriage,Dev also never managed his wardrobe before.So here,both are at fault! In spite of lying,Dev should have clearly said to Sona that I can not manage without help and Sona should have also not expected same from him .They both did not discuss properly about each other's like/dislikes which resulted in the fight as we saw in the last episode.

What I want to say is after marriage,partners do find each other's habits annoying and old habits die hard and like/dislikes doesn't change overnight so expecting same is something impossible.Here,both are not discussing but expecting a lot which actually happens between couples during initial days of Marriage and through proper communication only they can resolve their issues as they say "Communication is the key to a successful relationship".

This is just my POV,would love to hear views from all of you!!

P.S.- I am not defending any character,I love both Dev-Sona and I am happy the way CV's are showing how after Marriage couple faces the adjustment issues due to lack of proper communication! 😊

I dont think it matters to her if he does his work or not...what matters is to get dependency on his mother out of his system. Because somewhere she is feeling insecure...She wants him to depend on her...the problem here is Sona has no choice as she is staying at his place.. when things dont go rt , he goes to his mom who solves his problem...please keep in mind he goes to her ONLY for activities like ironing cleaning cupboard etc...his emotional dependency is on Sona which she hasnt realised ...😉😆

Now coming back to Sona, we will soon see her depending on her mom...calling and talking to her because she has started feeling insecure...that is when a girl calls her parents as men are not great when it comes to providing this kind of emotional support...they dont empathise/sympathise much...for them every problem has solution and they will either try and find the solution or avoid it... ...when she frequently starts relying for emotional support on someone other than him , he will start feeling insecure...because he wants her to share all her problems with him...being her husband he wants to find solution for them as well...this will be seen when he gets to know abt her online consultation...😉😆

We are going to have some nice interesting tracks coming up...it will be worth watching...

Both Sonakshi and Dev needs to communicate much more with each other

there should not be any fear between them .

both will make a lot of mistakes but in these mistakes they have to learn from it

If Sona wants Dev to depend on her then why didn't she ask him before that I will help you if at all you find it difficult and I believe she should have started helping him initially only so that Dev would have also got the confidence that now I can depend on my wife and no need to bother my mother for managing wardrobe.You can win other person's confidence through actions only .But here she asked him to do independently without helping him even,later only she said that Dev could have asked for her help. Dev didn't want to disappoint her so lied.

Sona always tries to solve the problem on her own first and Dev is a dependent person,either Sona or his mom solves the problem but when Sona didn't help he went to his mother for help.

Agree!! Asha is an understanding mother and she can surely support and help Sona in solving the issues.But I want both of them to solve issues on their own through proper communication before any problem goes to any of their parents or Sona find's emotional support on her parents. Lets see how the story unfolds..😊
I am eagerly waiting to see the reaction of Dev when he will get to know about Sona -Saurabh's business venture..😃

even though sonas intentions r good to make dev little more independent

& not be dependent on his mom so much, I feel her timing is wrong.

they are still in the very initial stages of their marriage. sona knows very well

that dev loves his mom a lot too much I must say. first of all she must try to

get more closer to dev more on emotionally. For that they need to spend lot of time

together which is hardly happening. Usually in love marriages the wife gets upper hand

compared to mom bcos the guy already would have been closer to the girl. But here the

case is different. Even before marriage, they have hardly been together for few months.

So sona should first concentrate on building her relationship with dev rather than trying to

change him. Once their relationship is strong then she can do whatever she wants to do.

You made a very balanced post on how both Dev and sona are at fault, however, I disagree with your take on this situation.

Dev :

He has attained perfection in lies. And now he lies on petty things like this one. It's become a pattern with the guy. There is no big deal if he doesn't know how to do basic chores but sprinting to mommy to complain and get help is not beneath him? Instead he could have tried and failed! To avoid one change, he developed a hobby of lying and then getting defensive when Sona caught him red-handed. It sounds only so horrible - cheating and caught red handed over not folding clothes! Lol

If nothing else, he could have man upto the flaw and said he can't do it. That too world have been acceptable to Sona.

Sona :

This girl - is real gold.Accomodating, loving, caring and sharing - true perfection. Tell me one good thing Dev has done to deserve her in his life.

So if she wanted to bring in a change for the better, what's the big deal?

Just because dev didn't ask her to learn how to cook, she should not ask him to fold his clothes? I don't see the logic here - us there a tit-tat policy here? Dev has a bad habit, which she wanted to change - so what's wrong with it, even if he didn't ask her to change anything.

Helping him to fold clothes - common, he could have asked her / his mata or even kichu bhaiyacfo teach him. But no, he went running to his mummy. The truth is - he is a lazy bum, he never wanted to do it in the very first place.

Sonakshi should make dev independent of ishwari's manipulations rather than fighting on such petty issues. They don't communicate that's why they have such problems. Dev can afford housekeeper to manage his wardrobe why does he need to do that himself..
