Madhuri or Sanjay Dutt? Who was bigger star in Khal Nayak?!

😉 I loved this movie in my childhood. Only for Madhuri really. She commanded the screen with her dialogues and smile. Sanjay was good but seemed second class to her. Please share your thoughts. 😳

Madhuri was a much bigger star than people on this forum give her credit for.

As far as Khalnayak is concerned, it was a hit because of the chemistry between Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri.

Sanjay Dutt. He was at an all time high with back to back hits and suppose to win best actor for Khalnayak if he didnt go to jail

nah man it was jackie or better yet anupam or maybe his wife in the movie or maybe that guy sanju punches, that hawaldaar

sanju was on top of his game. he was no 1 from 91-93

the movie also got a strong initial because of his jail controversy.

the opening of khalnayak is the best of that decade, let that sink in.

also you're overestimating madhuri's star power. its like saying dil toh pagal hain was a big hit because of her. so if she is with a guy who is on top, you can't give her the credit.

she was no sridevi of 80's

even in HAHK you can't give her all the credit, it was the movie that worked because of its theme and songs not because of its stars. it was the movie, theme, songs then madhuri then the so called actor who could have been played by anyone at that time.
