I was bearing with the slow progress of the show till now, but i am really disappointed by today's (and to some extent yesterday's) episode(s) !
We basically had 40 minutes of Badhoo standing in front of an empty jar and i recognize the importance of this rasam but they made a whole drama out of it that could have been just resolved if Malti had brought another pot of rice, if not for Badho, at least for the honor of her family.
I was really bored watching the two episodes, because the point of Malti not accepting Badho had been made when she refused to put her hands on Komal's head as Komal was touching her saas' feet. The point had been made again when Malti didn't include Komal in the pot of water ritual (when she take away the evil eye) in front of the house.
These two scenes were sensible and well done, but that whole rice drama is over the top.
We didn't need all of this Kamla screaming and screeching.
And the little sister PINCHING badhoo that leads to the pot flying to someone's head?! I mean come on, they can't be serious !𤢠At this point, i really thought the episode made no sense at all.
All that to finally reveal the men were robbers...
I feel like so far we had more Kamla screen time than komal screen time !
Maybe i'm just annoyed by Malti for taking her bitterness out on Komal because reality is, she was THERE when HER HUSBAND decided for everyone (komal INCLUDED) that komal would marry lucky. I can't believe she is now hating komal when the poor girl has nothing to do with this all.
Also what's the point of inviting people if all they do is insult the bride and the whole family ? If i were Raghubir, i would have asked everyone who's just here for gossip and negative energy to leave.
Sorry for the rant. I hope that the rest of the week will have better episodes and not that awful gimmick we had for the past 2 days.
