Well so sorry for the late reply...I almost missed it. Read your post on sat morning and told myself...I must post a reply soon...Was busy with throwing dinner parties to my non indian friends to end the Deepavali celebration. ! Cant complain as its good to see friends enjoying your home cooked food! 😃
Have to say I enjoyed the Friday episode.

Loved Loved Loved Dev's bonding with the boses...how carefree he becomes with them once the awkwardness fades off...you see a guy who enjoys himself so much...as if he just discovered a new found freedom from the Dixits No Smile clutches!😆

Loved how he fed his mother in law and how he praised her cooking...even Bijoy started to mellow towards his son in law!

I hope this is just the beginning and we get to see more bonding , man talk btw bejoy and Dev. Want dev to go to Boses and stay over there very often.

Iswari , the party spoiler...behaved exactly the way I expected her to be...long face, grumpy and cold that Dev dared to stay away from home and worst didnt even call her! Well, some things dont change...a leopard does not change its spot! Hope Dev's and Sona's kid will change grumpy granny ish someday! Dream on...!

Many times, I have wondered why Dev just dont tell him Mami off who nowadays is seen more verbally abusive towards Sona and worst in front of Dev and despite warnings from mama to shut up!

Dev is just not the kind of guy who speaks rudely to elders...he tolerates them..but it does not mean, he is accepting it and remaining silent doesnt mean that a person quits, it simply means that one doesnt want to argue with people who just dont want to understand. It like explaining something to aan empty vessel...a person who does not use brains!

Perhaps one day he might...but not just yet but would really be glad, that Mama just makes her shut up with some duck tape or throws her out!😆 This lady is very annoying...maybe Elena will teach her some lesson to both Mother and Son?

As for the new entries, not exactly thrilled too bits...but what to do the show must go on...next will be Nikkis wedding...and finally Kichu's as well...😆

That Swing is giving me ideas...Dev sitting on it with Sona on his lap... and those people who just stroll into their room without prior appointment gets a rude shock to see lovey dovey devakshi in engrossed in their own world of romance!😆

And what is this about you not writing anymore???/ Not Done...please one of the reasons I still come to the forum to get some positive vibes is to read post like yours...and how can you talk abt not writing. Understand abt lack of time...but at least write something weekly...Please, this is an order from me...you cant just leave like this...!

So my dear Deepa, dont be a stranger...please be in the forum...and write...Thank you my dear friend🤗

Okay, Deeps! So, I was not wrong about jhoola symbolizing Sona 😆 The jhoola and Sona are seen as unnecessary presence in Dev's life by Dixit family (except Ria and Nikki and mamaj)i.
Like I thought Dev accepts Sona and everything that goes with her..including jhoola.

I think this symbolism is not accidental. It is well thought out and once again I get ahead of myself when I say...when Dev - Sona seperate (this is given with the current scenario of excluding Sona from Dixit family and infertility track), Ishwari will want to remove the jhoola permanently from Dev's room but Dev will not allow that to happen.

In reality couples don't seperate as often as they do on Indian tv shows 😆 and I will be very pleasantly surprised if the cvs handle it without separation.
