Here goes the next update. I'm sorry, I couldn't update. Actually I had fever so had no mood to write, But as I said, will update today, so here's ur update. Enjoy all my readers.
Chapter 2
~ Meher's Past ~
"Maa bauji, we have flight after two hours." Prem handed them the tickets.
Gayatri looked at Meher who was sitting silently, she walked to her and took a sit beside her, she caressed her hair lovingly and said, "Meher..! Beta, please forget whatever happened. Lets start a fresh. We all are with u beta." but her words didn't sooth her pain, she didn't say anything. "Go and change into some casual dress. We have to leave for Mumbai." and she showed her the room.
Meher walked in the room and closed the door behind her. She walked near the dressing table and looked at herself in her wedding attire. She looked at her red bangles, then touched her mangalsutra. Her lips started trembling and eyes were getting wet. Meher touched her vermilion and recalled the wedding, now she couldn't hold her tears anymore. Meher slide on the floor crying.
** Flashback **
"No... no..! I don't want to wear them." Meher said seeing a blue saree.
"But Meher, puttar.. You'll look stunning in blue." Teji said placing the saree on Meher's shoulder.
"No maa.. Aarav doesn't like blue. I'll keep this yellow Saree." She said while taking a saree and continued, "By the way whose idea is it to celebrate our first anniversary in a grand way? Especially when Aarav is out of town." Meher asked rolling her eyes.
"It's Aarav's plan." Balraj replied smiling.
"Aarav?" Meher excitedly looking around asking, "Did he arrive? Where's he?"
"Uh..! He didn't arrive yet. He's on his..." But Teji stopped and showed her tongue. "On his? On his way? Maa... Aarav is coming today and you didn't say anything to me. Not done haan..!" Meher looked away making face.
"Arey Meher, Aarav asked us to keep it secret, he just want to give u surprise but ur maa spoiled it." As Balraj said, Meher turned at her mother and pulled her cheek saying, "Thank u maa, for saying it." Meher got up from her sit and about to leave when Teji asked, "Where r u going now?"
"Maa.. Aarav is coming, and today is our first anniversary, I've to look perfect." She said excited and left from there.
** Flashback End **
Meher opened her suitcase and saw that Yellow Saree which she wore on that day, he took it in her hand and kept it near to her heart crying when her eyes fall on photo frame, she took it and caressed it and then hugged it.
** Flashback **
Meher was getting ready in that Yellow saree, she was all happy and waiting for Aarav, she took the photo frame saying, "Aarav.. What u have done on me? U were away from me for just two days and I am missing u like anything. Please come soon, now I can't wait anymore. I want to touch u, I want to feel u. Please come soon." She kept the fame on its position and got ready for the party.
The party was on full swing, guests started arriving and congratulating Meher but her eyes were stuck on the door only, that was noticed by her in-laws. Teji walked to her and said, "Meher.. Aarav might be on his way. U come, everyone is asking for u beta."
"Maa, let me call him once more then I'll join u." Meher said and excused. She went to a corner and called her husband but it was switched off. "Here I'm dying for him and he kept the phone off, idiot." She mumbled and went to attend the guests.
Another one hour passed but there was no call from Aarav nor he showed. Now Meher became restless, every now and then she tried his number but still it was off. Meher was sitting in a corner, she had no mood to enjoy the party when Balraj and Teji came to her, they tried to cheer her up but all in vain. Just then Balraj got a call, "Hello..!" Meanwhile Meher anxiously waited.
As soon as Balraj hang up the call, Meher asked, "Whose call it was bauji? Is it Aarav's? Where's he?"
"Meher.. Meher beta relax.." He tried to calm her down but Meher became more furious, "What's going on bauji? Where's Aarav?"
"We have to go hospital now." He said very calmly.
"Hos... Hospital? Why? Why we need to go hospital?" She asked worried.
"Don't waste time here, let's go.." And they left for the hospital.
Balraj walked towards the OT with with shaky legs, he saw few men were waiting, he walked to them. "Aarav?"
"Yes. Are u his father?" A man asked, Balraj nodded. "Doctor took him in OT, hi face almost burnt." Balraj took few steps back hearing this. "We were working there when we saw the car was coming unsteadily and lost the control and fall on the cliff."
"NO!!" Meher shouted, she ran to the man and grabbed him by his collar, "It wasn't AArav. You r lying. Bauji, don't believe him. Our Aarav is fine." Meher started behaving like crazy when Teji and her parents tried to control her, just then doctor walked out from OT, Balraj ran to him when doctor looked down saying, "I'm sorry. We couldn't save him." Everyone cried whereas Meher lost her sense right there.
One week later,
Meher was sitting in her room with Aarav's photo. From last week, Meher didn't walk out from her room, nor she talk with anyone, always remained silent, she almost forget to leave. Teji walked in the room and took sit beside her, "Meher puttar, how long will u live like this? U have to move on..."
But as usual Meher didn't say anything, nothing affected on her. On that day, Gayatri and Lalit went to visit them and seeing Meher's condition, they decided to get her married with their son, as if she stayed at that place, she could remain just like this, which affect her health. But on first Meher denied but then Teji and Gayatri convinced her and she agreed for them.
** Flashback End **
Meher was sitting on the floor crying, she said, "I'm sorry Aarav. I married to someone else but u know na why I did it.. But I promise, no one ever take ur place, U was and will be my husband. I'll never consider anyone as my husband, I agreed to marry him for our parents that's all."

Preet landed in Mumbai and called his friends asking about their whereabouts and left for the venue. He stormed in his friend's house angrily when his friends asked the matter, he simply shrugged off saying, "Don't irritate me now..!" and he started drinking making his friends confuse. He recalled the marriage, "Why u spoiled my life dad.. Why?" He thought and started drinking, he was too much furious that nothing soothed his pain, Preet gave pressure on the glass which he held and it broke making his hand bleed, but he ignored and left from there.
