i feel like she asked for it. had she been responsible and caring enough to not treat sona like an outsider and genuinely bonded with her, sona wouldnt have prolonged her stay at the bose house and dev wouldnt have gone too and ishwari wouldnt have to feel the pain of her son bonding with another maternal figure.
thodi insecurity sabhi ko hoti hai and that's ok. but you were going against nature. so this is karma. if you dont want your son to emotionally bond with his own wife and you control the hell out of him then you totally deserve him consciously or unconsciously slipping out of your control and developing a healthy relationship with better people.
