Let us look from what writers/creatives want us to view KKb show as after Abhi's ML. Why should it be a responsibility of a fan no. 1 or a staff/secretary to stop a Rockstar's wedding that too by Nikitha whose original identify got lost in Mumbai after Abhi started calling her with this new name?
Abhi's Dadi and Mehra family could have easily stopped this wedding as they all know evil deeds of Tanu, her affair, her motive and her character. His brother like friend Purab could have stopped wedding. Dadi and Purab together can have possibly bigger influence on Abhi's decisions than Aaliya alone if they make him sit and give right perspective and also remind him about his health condition, his death threats during Dussera.Dadi could have said I met Tanu's mother 2-3 months back in some other occasion in Mumbai she was fine then and heard that they are in some financial troubles as both Tanu and her fathers earnings have come down. She can even lie that she saw her mother in a mall or mandir before Dussera 2-3 days back hale and healthy and could have inserted a seed of doubt in Abhi's mind.Purab could have told Abhi that Aaliya was in Australia before his car accident for many months and may not know what ever happened in her friend Tanu's life in India during her absence he can show a passport to prove that. He could have said Tanu had affairs in past or one of her boyfriend was his Delhi wala friend and her modelling took back seat with these distractions. He could have easily proved that Tanu was out of business for many months in fashion industry and is currently in deep financial mess. This could have triggered some doubt in Abhi's mind as to why suddenly mother & daughter are pushing for wedding date.There are various logical ways in which Dadi and Purab could have stopped Mehendi and can even stop remaining Tanu wedding functions even without Aaliya being aware by only targeting Tanu and her family and also taking into account doctors warning on Abhi's stress attacks. The show doesn't intend to take this route it only wants old ladies to talk silly kumkum & bhagya dialogues forever and trap viewers to watch with anticipation.

You are right... Daadi and Purab have more options than Pragya to stop Tabhi's wedding... More than Purab, Daadi have more ways to execute the plan, which can hit Abhi's doubts... Daadi can also manipulate Abhi in good ways, as Daadi is most trustable person for Abhi in his life... But she have to take a stand for her grandson and bahu and move forward to stop the wedding...
