tahir brought her shares bonds for alimony ..😆
if she changed her name she could nt have sold
without the tedious process of filing for correction
so she took the lazy easy way out with no name change 😆

my dad n mom's brother, both have the same name.

Khan is a common name but a name matching with hubby and dad isnt too common. This is KJO's fluff on celluloid so it was too much of a stretch. Like someone pointed out, he probably wanted audience to know that they were ex and he was her hubby if things were not already clear. 😆

The reason I asked this question is it's weird to see an ultra modern happily divorced woman like Saba not changing her surname even after moving on.

Nowadays married women don't keep their husband's surnames. Strange to see a divorced woman still keeping her husband's surname.

From a Muslim POV, lady never has to change her surname coz her husband never defines her.

What people do today is technically wrong but coz it's a minute thing people tend to overlook it.

So from the get go it's wrong.
