I am extremely disappointed with the way Nach Baliye 3 has ended. Of course, the main reason being; Rakhi and Abhishek did not win despite being more talented and hardworking. Another reason is that I strongly support Rakhi's accusations. I really do think STAR, Ekta Kapoor and Mika had alot to do with AS winning. There is also a possiblity that Ekta bribed the channel. You never know with Ekta. Mika obviously voted because of spite...not because of loyalty towards AS. I really do hope STAR is guilty.
...tell us whether NB3 ended on a happy note for you or not.
Much like you, I am really disappointed with Nach Baliye 3 but not because Rakhi-Abhishek did not win but because they and their fans are not letting me properly enjoy Aamir-Sanjeeda's victory as the show's crowned winners.
Rakhi-Abhishek have single-handledly managed to turn a fun dance reality show into a nightmare for themselves and others. While I do agree that Rakhi-Abhishek were a talented couple, I am always surprised by various members' accusations of Aamir-Sanjeeda not being equal to them:
I maintain that Aamir-Sanjeeda were underscored and not as equally appreciated by judges. However, that does not automatically translate into Rakhi-Abhishek being the best. I felt that Aamir-Sanjeeda's strong points were the way they exuded grace, poise, and precision in dance movement alongside facial expressions. And Rakhi-Abhishek's strong points were their ability to match the rhythm of the music, flexibility and energy in dance movements. So, I am not even sure how one begins comparing dancers that have different strengths. That being said, I would like to say that I felt they were equally matched out of all the couples in Nach Baliye 3.
Many fans of Rakhi are supporting her for bashing the channel and the actual winners. And that is their choice. But I do take offense to your comments regarding Ekta Kapoor. Yes, she does ask her corporate staff to vote for her favorite contestants. But she would not resort to bribery. And saying so can only be characterized as slander which is in poor taste.
Moreover, I also take offense to your comment wanting Star Channel to be found guilty. And I wonder how anyone can think like that. Star Channel might seem like a faceless, anonymous entity to you but the channel is run by actual people who have families and friends. I am not sure how anyone can want actual people to be found guilty of an accusation hurled by Rakhi-Abhishek couple which has not been proven, is implausible by all indications, and will not garner Rakhi-Abhishek anything but more alienation?
Let me tell you one thing: I used to like Rakhi before; I do not like her anymore. This whole fiasco has become too much for me. I can understand her grief and feels she is entitled to it. But she is not entitled to slander the channel or the couple themselves when nothing has been proven and is most likely untrue. And I am sad that Rakhi-Abhishek fans think so lowly of Aamir-Sanjeeda fans that they are hunting for ways to have Aamir-Sanjeeda to be found not the winners of the show.
