" nehi kaka mannat jitni jadli poori hoo utna accha hota hai, aap fikar maat kijiye main thik hoon aur ha Dadima ko iss bare main kuch bhi pata nehi chalna chahiye " saying she left to Dadima's room unknown to them Maan heard everything...
He really don't understand this girl, first thought she married him for money but that day when she said she will go away after sometime time he was surprised. But his money mind didn't believe her thought may be it's her another plan . He thinks her a greedy woman but the more he observed her his thinking forced to change...
In past 3 days she never tried to talk to him, only act as a happy wife in front of Dadima. He saw the love she has for his Dadima. She is staying at Dadima's room and in these days she hardly slept. He wants to trust her, but his mind stop him as because of her couldn't reach in his goal. And now this revelations about her fasting..
' why she is doing this? Dadima is not her blood related still she is taking care of her so well, what is her real face?'. Thinking about her he went to office and totally forget that's now a days he is thinking about Geet more than money...
" Dadima yeh lijiye aapki medicine" Dadima smiled softly and took the glass and medicine from Geet's hand..
"Geet bete aap thik hai na" Dadima asked worriedly looking at her pale face...
" ha Dadima i am perfectly fine and it's me who should ask you this kuynki bistar par main nehi aap lete ho . Now enough of talking and take rest "... Saying this she was about to go but Dadima stop her
" bete Mishra jika phone aaya tha, aaj unki beti ki engagement hai, do tell maan to come early . Both of you are going to there ".
Hearing about party Geet's got scared, last party incident flashed in front of her. She still couldn't forget peoples bad talking about her.
" woh.. Woh Dadima Maan is very busy i don't think he can manage aur baise bhi you are not fully well "...
Geet tried to deny but Dadima didn't listen she wants them to spend some time together, from past days Geet is staying with her and Maan also busy so they hardly got time and this party is a perfect opportunity for them to spend time alone ...
" hum kuch nehi sunna chahate , hum bilkul thik hai aur Nakul bhi hai ,aap dono ja rahe hai bas. Call Maan now ". Seeing no option she dialed his number and praying that he wont get angry and blame her again...
Maan was in meeting when his phone buzzed with Geet's number. It's first time after their marriage she called him ' kahi Dadima ki tabiyat kharab toh nehi ho gayi '. He excused from client and went pick up the call
" hello Geet, sab thik hai na,Dadima thik hai na "...
" ji dont worry Dadima is fine " Geet answered fast hearing his worried tone.
He took a sigh of relief but then thought ' if everything is fine then why she called '. There Geet don't understand how to tell him about engagement.
" ji wo.. Wo..."
seeing her hesitation Dadima took the phone from her hand. Maan was about to shout on her because she disturbed him between his important meeting but stop hearing Dadima's voice...
" Maan bete hum Dadima bol rahe hai, aap ko ye batana tha ki aj aap aur Geet saath main Mishra ji ki beti ki engagement pe ja rahe hai " as expected Maan said no...
" i can't Dadima i have so many wor..". But Dadima cut him off
" I don't want to hear anything humne kehe diya bas aap dono jarahe ho. And yes now I'm sending Geet to your office. You both will go and buy a gift also Geet need to buy a dress. Ab kam choriya aur aapni patni par dyan dijiye."
Before Maan could deny Dadima hang up. " what the hell can't she say no, damn it now i have to cancel meeting to go with her ". But before he curse her more again his phone buzzed with Geet's call..
" Yes " he answered with gritted teeth...
Geet can feel he is angry " um you don't have to go with me for shopping, aate waqt aap kuch leke aiye ga. And i don't want any dress i have some, i will wear from there "...
Again she surprised him by her disinterest, he thought all is her plan for shopping but now he can clearly sense that Dadima is forcing her so he said ...
" but Dadima, won't she ask why you not going?"...
" don't worry i will manage, i am going to orphanage so Dadima won't get to know that we didn't shop together "...
saying this she cut the call leaving Maan in deep thought as again she proved him wrong .
At evening Geet was feeling weak as she was fasting but still she got ready and went with Maan. At car both were silent, but Maan was glancing at her secretly , don't know why he can't stop looking at her. She wore a simple blue saree with minimum make up but looking so beautiful .
There Geet very nervous ,she knows Maan don't want to attend the party especially with her and she doesn't want to force him. After sometime she said him to stop. He parked the care and looked at her confused...
" i know you don't want to attend the engagement with me but don't worry i won't come with you." pointing at a nearby house " This is my friend's house i will stay there. You go and join the party but please fetch me up from here or else Dadima would suspect if we both don't go KM together "...
before Maan can protest she went out. Don't know why he felt bad about her not going with him...
