The one on the other hand continued to expose the rant he was doing without bothering if the other person was even listening...

Barat was on their door step... she was alone... not even any friends or cousins with her as everyone was eager to see the barat!... what could she do... quickly gaining her composure she ran out of her room to talk to her dad... but to her utter dismay she was caught by few of her distant relatives and taken to the mandap except few of her distant relatives she couldn't find any of her family members not even kailash!

The garlands were exchanged without her parents...

Even the rest of the rituals started she wanted to shout and call for her family if not one of her cousins words who said her mom dad were coming in a while and were busy with some important guests... IMPORTANT GUEST?? more important than their daughter!

Then she thought it was enough and she would have to do something to stop the wedding at least to gain some time to find her family and more over she knew that the wedding wouldn't be complete without the kanyadan and for that her parents presence was compulsory...

Slowly without her knowledge a low gossip started that how the bride's family ran off unable to get the amount promised before the marriage...

She was furious and emotionally drained at this whole turn of events... and before she could protest he relatives were begging her soon to be in laws to save her pride and not to abandon the mandap... when she refused to sign the blank documents her distant aunt who never liked her came forward and slapped her hard... tears spilled her eyes.. all her protests fell deaf ears and she was married with Dheeraj who was still covered with the sehera and not moving an inch...

She knew her aunt did not like her lifestyle and nor their rapid growth in wealth but she failed to assess her extent of hatred!

When she stood up to take blessings from her in laws she saw a horror stricken family of her who stood so broken... by the look on their faces she know they came to know everything and were just a lifetime late to save their daughter...

The pain full smile she gave her father broke his already weaker heart and he collapsed right in front of the mandap... Her in-laws took this as an opportunity and started calling her names soon the grooms family left them to grieve her father's death..

Slowly the atmosphere calmed down and so did the loose tongues.. the final rituals of her father's death completed by kailash that's when they received the registered post from the court...

And she decided that she had enough of this crap and she would sort out her mess by herself!

As per her request all the traces of her being the daughter of their family were destroyed and she stepped out of her house with a suitcase just containing few sets of plain cotton sarees and her bare minimum necessities...

Weeks passed by and he started working in several wealthy houses some took him willingly and some thrown him out... living on streets wasn't new to him so he did manage a decent living... He was stubborn and he wanted her to meet him just as she left... he knew She belonged to a rich family it's just that he had no idea if he was searching in the right places or not...

His routine was simple... beg for work join the household befriend the servants and ask the only question he came for!

So far he didn't find any family which could have any trace of her... except one house where he found a elderly women who resembled Her at times... the pride he saw in her eyes whenever she saw him was hard to forget and thus he got more attached to her warmth... but that was the end of it as per his knowledge they didn't have any Daughter instead they had a son so that wasn't the option at all...

He was waiting for his new boss to complete his shopping and was waiting outside the market under a tree he felt someone tapping his shoulder...

The girl was quite beautiful and was smiling at him!

He cleared his throat and asked her if he could help her in any way but the girl shook her head saying she could help him instead... even though the girl was blushing and giving him all suggestive looks... he felt his heart beating in his fist... as if he knew she came here TO HELP HIM!!

She just asked him to meet her at some posh restaurant that evening and all he did was quit his job and kept waiting from the afternoon...

And when the time arrived she just laughed out loud seeing his anticipation she had a guy accompany her whom she introduced as her fiance or something as he was least bothered of... he just excused himself from them as they entered the restaurant to clean himself up and was back in record time...

Smiling nervously at the couple... he took his seat... sitting at the edge... the guy squeezed the girls hand and she dialed some number on her mobile and handed the phone to him...

It was like he already knew who was on the other end his eyes watered as he waited for the one at the other end to pick up the call...

And when it did the tears just flowed down his eyes on their on accord not caring about the audience he got not about the surroundings nothing in the world...

Past had many turn of events which worked worse to Geet..
some relative trying to ruin her family and future is cruel..and no one being there to support or help is makes it miserable..her tries to protest did not work, though I feel she should have been adamant on her protest..
now the question is why she went back to the in laws after this.
Present had his hope, determination to find her and eagerness to meet her..
and at last he got to talk to her..
who is the elderly lady and the couple he met in the restaurant...
this is giving some mysterious vibes..
