I also like Neelas character. The cast overall is great. So no complaints there.

I too like the character, but the portrayal hasn't made an impact on me yet 🤔
The way I see it - she is to portray someone who is very sensitive and intuitive. Someone with a big heart and an inner antenna who picks on all sort of vibes easily. This has made her very vulnerable and being sensitive she hurts easily. Other than her father she has had no shoulder to cry on so she was forced to learn to hide her hurt feelings and bounce back easily. In addition, since she grew up without a mother - she had to deal with watching other kids do and perience things with their moms which knew she never could. So, she taught herself coping mechanisms to be resilient. One of those coping mechanism is the 'supposed nautanki' behavior. Otherwise her core personality is that of a cheerful responsible person who loves to help others.Overall, I see the actor who plays Neela doing a wonderful job! Initially I too was wondering why she was acting the way she was - but now that I understand Neela's personality - I see that she is doing a great job.
