TV stars on Christmas celebrations

It's Christmas time so we ask some of our telly stars about their plans and also their sweet Christmas memories.

Abigail (Kya Dil Main Hain)

"I'm on leave on 25th so I will spend time with family and close friends. There is a small house party where I have invited all my co-actors and even Kyrstle to accompany me. This Christmas is very special because my acting career has taken good shape thanks to Balaji. As a kid I used to be very excited about getting gifts. In school we used to have small skits on Christ which I enjoyed."

Krystle De'souza (Kahe Naa Kahe)

"At 12 midnight I will be going with my family to the nearby Church and then will spend time with my family and friends which I normally don't get to do because of my hectic schedule. I have lots of childhood memories about the festival. We used to sing Christmas carols and I used to take part in dance. I and my cousins would wait for the gifts."

Jennifer Winget (Sangam)

"I and my family will be going to Church for midnight mass and then I and my friends will be singing carols. The whole atmosphere on this day is transformed as we sing Marathi carols. As a child, I used to love getting gifts from Santa Claus and I also used to get very excited preparing the Christmas tree."

Vaishnavi (Kahe Na Kahe)

"It will be very hectic as me and my few friends have decided to go to the orphanages in Vasai. I and my daughter will go there and spend time with small kids and there is some other stuff to do too. Before 17, I was a Vaishanav Brahmin but then there was a spiritual enlightenment which brought me closer to Christ. Everyone should remember the importance of Christmas. On this day and the rest of the year we have to help the needy."

Shweta Salve

"A small brunch with my family and close friends. We celebrate Christmas and decorate the house with a Christmas tree. No special childhood memory as such."

Amita Chandekar

"I will be going to church in the morning and then there will be a small dinner with my cousins. This time we all will have a blast. As a kid, I had a great time because it was holiday time and my mom used to get me 3 dresses. I used to change it at regular intervals. And I also used to wait with bated breadth for the gifts."
