Looks like you have never actually seen MNS attacking people without provocation. They indeed touch the public and do a lot more than that, threatening, beating them up, etc.

Now I do not live in Mumbai, so I do not know if they indeed do the same to the film going audience.. but they are definitely capable of doing that, and the proof is in the video below and many more such videos that are up on YouTube.

Coming to security, yes, some big multiplexes have beefed up security, you and I cannot enter without tickets, but when there is a mob of 20-30 violent people attacking the multiplex, the 3-4 security guards standing there are helpless and turn mute spectators. By the time they would have called up the police and before they arrive, the damage would have been done and they would have already reached the next multiplex to unleash another bout of vandalism.

If they get arrested, they have enough political clout and connections to be released the next day (and the same day in some cases - such is our country).
