You don't think the MNS is a bully? How is them throwing stones at Indians watching an Indian movie in India going to help matters? Don't you think there should be a better way to protest if they feel the need? Or is violence the only answer?
I don't know about you but I don't want India to be known for the wrong reasons.

They tear down movie posters and throw stones at the box office window but I have never once seen nor read about them physically throwing stones on audience in the cinema hall... i have never seen them touch the public... the main objective is to seem like a threat so the movie can be stopped... a lot of multiplexes in India have heightened security... they dont let you in through the door if you don't have a ticket and security check... the theatres they attack are usually ones with no security and mostly run down... i have watched movies in theatre myself when MNS has been threatening... i have a choice of picking theatres with a lot of security.

Isn't that exactly what people are doing? Generalizing the whole country of Pakistan and all its citizens as people who support terrorism? As if every single person there is involved in it? In that scenario it's okay?

The point is that they use violence to send their message across, which I am against. They might not physically assault anyone but throwing stones and propagating vandalism is not okay by any means, especially by some random power-hungry party. Why should anyone need to pick theatres with security because of fear of the MNS? Anyway if you find nothing wrong with their methods then good for you I guess? I am not a supporter by any means.
That's all I want to say about this topic. 😊

Are you so blinded by hate that you cannot distinguish between the writer of the article and me?

Just because I refuse to be blind to the reality of today, I become an India hater? Why cant you have a logical rebuttal of the article instead of taking cheap/personal digs at me?

After going through so many threads made by such fair, kind humanitarians I can only conclude one thing. The problem with India is not terrorism from the neighboring country(no brownie points for guessing which one) but a severe case of jaichand syndrome.

No one is saying all pakistanis are terrorists but without some kind of tacit public support it is impossible for a country's government to harbor and glorify terrorists in such a shameless manner.

But that does not surprise me. What does is the reaction of some people who in the name of being humanitarians will probably not think twice before throwing their country and countrymen under the bus.

Did i say i have no problem 'with their methods'? My reply was entirely at your sentence 'How is throwing stones at Indians watching an Indian movie' - that sentence without evidence to back it up is a very misleading sentence.
I am for facts so if they throw stones and harm the public I would like to know for myself

Remus.Lupin4: "i have never seen them touch the public"

Looks like you have never actually seen MNS attacking people without provocation. They indeed touch the public and do a lot more than that, threatening, beating them up, etc.

Now I do not live in Mumbai, so I do not know if they indeed do the same to the film going audience.. but they are definitely capable of doing that, and the proof is in the video below and many more such videos that are up on YouTube.

Coming to security, yes, some big multiplexes have beefed up security, you and I cannot enter without tickets, but when there is a mob of 20-30 violent people attacking the multiplex, the 3-4 security guards standing there are helpless and turn mute spectators. By the time they would have called up the police and before they arrive, the damage would have been done and they would have already reached the next multiplex to unleash another bout of vandalism.

If they get arrested, they have enough political clout and connections to be released the next day (and the same day in some cases - such is our country).

Okay, throwing stones at a theater which might or might not have people inside it.
But MNS has attacked people from the North in very violent ways. I remember them attacking north indians in railway exam centers in Mumbai, and yes throwing stones at them.
Ponymo has posted one instance, I can post a couple more if you would like.

Ponymo given the context is of a movie theater... i have never seen them touch the public in a theatre... i am from maharashtra...i will watch that video but i have seen them in person... but since the context is of MNS and SS in theatres my experience with them has never involved them throwing stones at us the audience
