Tia, your post was being missed. Valid questions indeed.
In Fridays episode, I am very upset with Dev for two things (repeating a post I made elsewhere)1) He could have expressed his position to Sona without yelling at her. That was just inconsiderate and disrespectful of him.2) He could have at least pointed out to his mother not to drag Sona into this matter as she kept saying naye puraane rishtey. Sona gave her suggestion but the decision was mine, which I will now change it for you maa. Now the consequences we face will be because of you.
Sona should take a step back and let Dev fight his inner demons first.she should offer support as a friend in this case, coz this is a sensitive subject for Dev (since he is burdened with this deep rooted indebtedness towards his family). He needs support but let him ask for it. Thats probably the only way to deal with him at the moment. Silence will be golden (with dev) but silence the rest of the family members (go back to fighter mode).

Perfect. She needs to stop putting up with Eeshwari and co from this moment, because I find it so annoying. More than Dev not standing up for Sona, I hate it that she is not standing her ground and giving into Eeshwari's whims.

Even in most normal marriages where husbands are not momma's boys, they usually don't support the girl against their own mother in the initial days. They would be conflicted about taking sides many times, because they don't want to make either woman unhappy. They would be happy when the girl stands up for herself, but won't express it openly unless the mother crosses the line. I am saying this from my own experience. I would like Sona to remember that she is Bijoy and Asha Bose 's daughter. She doesn't have to become like Eeshwari 🤢
