Ok guys... I know many of you are angry on Dev. I know he behaved extremely rude with Sona. But can we look at the things with both Dev and Sona's POV.

Sona was absolutely correct in coming to him and comforting him. She wanted to tell him what he did was right and she is with him. This is what she has learnt all her life. To differentiate between what is right and what wrong and to always take the right decisions. And i loved Sona on how she wanted to be with Dev and tell him and even if everyone else will not support him she will always be there with him.

On the other hand Dev. He was and still is always burdened with the family responsibilites and the thought that what his family had done for him and he has to return the favor to them all his life.

Yes. This is what his mother did even today with him. He failed to understand why she was so against his decision and it was clear from his expressions that he was confused when his mother was talking about the old relationships and the new one. And that he should not forget the old relations due to the newly formed relationship. He failed to understand when he took the right decision with Sona why still his mother was against it.

He still went to her to make her understand that it is not about small aur big position. He just want vicky to first learn everything properly. And at present vicky can't even stand and face the people on such higher posts. He cannot deal with those people. But his mother once gain took him down the memory lane and told him how indebt they are to his mamaji. And he needs to return the favor. It was all illogical but was making him guilt ridden.

And when he went back to his room he was thinking about all those words of his mom. About his new relationship. Her taunts... And the past she reminded him of and that was the time Sona came and he lashed out.

Yes he was not at all right. He was absolutely wrong in doing so. It was not at all Sona's fault and he cannot behave like this with her. She came to comfort him. To be with him and helo him with his decision.

But is this not how human behavior is. There are times we want to be alone. We want some peace to think and take decision on our own. And sometimes not intentionally, but unitentionally we take out our anger at the one close to us. And here only Sona is the one Dev is most close to. And even after that argument when Sona was waiting for Dev at the dinner table she was only worried for him and was not angry. And its because she is only one who understands him the most. Yes she understands him.

I just wanted to ask everybody, are we all ready to accept the reality. I mean we all always wanted our show to be realistic. Close to reality and relatable and for me toady's scenarion between DevAkshi was extremely realistic.

Yup..common scenario between doormat wife and parivark ka rakshak husband... Parivar..wife is not part of parivar...
Well Dev was quite the verbal abuser today... His mom clearlyi instigated him against his wife... It's real and normal...and where evert to whoever it happens... It boils my blood. Reel or real..every single time.
Hope reel and realw women realize their worth oned day..amen.

Btw I watchedt thiss serial after a month and realized I was right to not watch it before

Not seen the episode. Problem is, in this instance Sona really should have stayed out of this. It's not the right thing probably but the sensible thing to do. She already has so much stress.
She will learn so much from this

As for Dev he has always been senseless and was just beginning to turn a corner when this happened

Thank you so much for this post, I was just about to log out but your post made me comment. I know many people are irritated by the things going on in the show. They will say that its too much in the name of "realism". But somehow i feel all this is necessary. For Dev and Sona to realise and accept the reality. Dev was confused and din't agreed to his mother's suggestions, but he accepted it in the name of "obligation". He is realising that his views can be different from his mother. And I am sure he will be assertive in his decisions later. He is not fool, he definitely understands what vicky can do to his company. He said to mamaji he will handle losses, because money and company will never come in between personal relationships (he said the same to natasha, paisa important hai but personal life mai nahi).

Sona realised how Dev is being emotionally manipulated and made guilty. She is gonna help Dev in it. And sorry i will disagree with many people here, she is no doormat, or abla naari or a victim of being a woman! She was right today in every aspect. She wanted to comfort dev and i know she will soon realise that there is no one apart from her for dev.

Yes they fought, Some may disagree but both were correct at their places. Sometimes people just want to be left alone, they need space, that's what Dev was trying to do. Sona as usual wanted them to talk and sort it out. And somehow i feel it was not Dev's anger on Sona, he was just in loop of his talk with his mom.

Realism or not but it is important for story to proceed.

Yes they are showing reality that girl chose to be doormat of the house and punching bag 👏👏
She should be treated like this only ,why because this is called REALITY OR I would say TRP for drama.😉

One more thing I liked today is that I saw sitting at the dinner table and not serving.was not comfortable with the typical bahu behaviour.

But that's the problem isn't it? This shouldn't be the reality and I hope to dear god that whatever CV"s are showing isn't something that happens daily in any household. The way Dev treated Sona was uncalled for. When Sona makes a deciosn without informing him, he goes bonkers. Yet he does the same thing. It's hypocrisy at it's best. Despite Ishwari considering her a toy she has brought for her son, Sona is a human with actual feelings. The Dixits have forgotten that completely. Honestly if I was Sona, I would've walked out the first day. I do not have the patience to listen to taunts like she did.

OMG! Sona is allowed to sit on the dining table? Such a luxury 😲

@TM- Yes we are ready to accept realism but not stupidity.
