Honestly, I can relate to Dev...
I am exactly that way.
When we are our maddest, we want some solitude.
Peace of mind is something that we can always bargain for at that moment.
And if we don't get it, it has to always be the one we love the most and are closest to, who dare to reach the untouched boundaries of our anger; who become prey to our lashing...
There's no right and wrong at that moment. It's just the anger that we understand that time.
it is always wise to give us, Dev in this context, a little moment of silence and then when they are a little calmer, comfort him.
They tend to immediately put their head in your lap and tell everything that is bothering them.
BUT, only when you give them a little space of silence...
Sonakshi is totally new to Dev, and this is eventually that she will learn. Either she will adjust around his behavior and give him space like his family, or she will eventually mould him into talking it out no matter what.
But patience is what Sonakshi should be holding strong to...

Yes Jyothi. Bang on. Great post as always. This is reality and the show is about. Dev truly madly loves Sona more than anyone else and fights do happen in normal life. So just relax and chill guys.

Dev shouting at Sona is not as disturbing as him not objecting to her being called an outsider, a kaala saya and Dev still being ok and then later shouting at her. If I see their fight... It looks normal for Dev to lose his temper but it was difficult to watch him not stand against her insult

Yes you do have the right and here we all are to share our POVs and i did the same. We all have a different perspective and a different approach towards analysing thing and its ok.

No 2 people think alike. We should put forward oue points and respect others POV that's it.

Yes it is dear. But when i was watching the episode, by the look of it i thought Dev didn't understand GKB was pointing towards Sona as nobody's reaction was shown at that point except for Sona.

Aaj kisi ko kuch samjhaney ka fayeda nahi hai Jyoti..sab bharey baithey hain and all are so angry that they r talking about show shuing down dragging cursing cvs..its in extreme state..no point sighh :(

Yes he was not at all right. He was absolutely wrong in doing so. It was not at all Sona's fault and he cannot behave like this with her. She came to comfort him. To be with him and helo him with his decision.

But is this not how human behavior is. There are times we want to be alone. We want some peace to think and take decision on our own. And sometimes not intentionally, but unitentionally we take out our anger at the one close to us. And here only Sona is the one Dev is most close to. And even after that argument when Sona was waiting for Dev at the dinner table she was only worried for him and was not angry. And its because she is only one who understands him the most. Yes she understands him.

bang on ..you so rightly pointed it out..just what I have been writing in every other post on forum today LOL

thank you ..for making post..what this guy is going through just tears my heart apart </3 oh poor boy I feel so helpless seeing him suffering :( also Sona isnt able to help him :( oh sona </3 :'(

Yes, we all can understand reality.. There are some things that can be called reality. Yes, miscarriages happen.. that's a reality.. yes..its possible that some may find it hard to conceive.. thats a reality.. yes, one may meet with an accident while walking home.. thats a reality.. but these are curveballs that life throws us that we can kind of nod our heads and sympathize with..

But, accepting taunts from an aunt-in-law day in and day out, from a m-i-l day in and day out, rude behavior from b-i-l and s-i-l , and to put up with husband's tantrums cannot be classified under reality.. and accepted as such, because all these situations are under our control and they are pretty much man-made or society based norms. If it happens, then it needs to be changed.. thats what the show should be about..

If a drunken man beating his wife/kids or a woman being abused or harassed is shown in a tv show, it is wrong whether it is in or out of the tv show and cannot be classed as a reality and accepted point blank.

Yes these things happen in the society but i guess its high time we fight these social evils and the shows should raise their bar and show how to deal with this issue as a modern/educated woman of today..

So sorry... this is not "reality" that I choose to accept and its time that this is changed.

but this is reality...if u think that many bahu gets taunt from her saas and aunt in law...yes, it is true. still in our society, this problem happens and so makers r only trying to show that

before 60 episodes, there relation is different and now after marriage, there relation have changed... there r husband and wife, someone's bahu. and after marriage, many responsibilities also come in our life..u have to take care of everyone in family... now makers can't show only romantic track but they have to show also family issues which mostly happen in our society.
