The theme of the show is quite different ..there's no denying that...but its kinda dark and morbid too...so i dont know if i am being too presumptious but i think maya's dad was a pedophile...the way her character has been sketched and the kind of emotional vulnerability that always lingers in her apartment , i wont be too surprised if i am proved right ...

what;s your take on it guys? do share ur views and opinions ...

I didn't understand one thing. In previous episode, Maya's mom was shown waiting for her husband and all and in this episode, she is normal and protective about Maya and shooing husband away.

What's the real picture? Is he her step-dad and Maya's mom is waiting for someone else? If she was waiting for same guy, Maya would be terrified at the thought of his coming back?

Exactly I too was thinking the same . Maya was so scared of her own dad & her mum knew it she definitely pushed him a bit but when Maya left she wasn't angry on him why ?? I mean her mum reaction wasn't understandable to me ??

It is pretty clear that Maya's mom has no feelings for the man we saw in the previous episode. I think he is Maya's step-dad.

Often we read in newspaper same thing. Why not show it to increase the awareness!!

It's not SCARY idea. It's painful reality for many. The way Maya reacted, I feel nothing else than this. They better portray it with sensibly.

Also think he isn't her father because he did say to mayas mum "tune APNI beti ko tameez nai sikhai"

Something along those lines

So im guessing he isn't her father and must've tortured in some sort of way for her react as such

Exactly my point too. It was confusing. Hopefully we will get the clear picture in coming episodes
