Why didn't Revolver Rani or Queen open better than Akira?

Even if you're combine their openings still doesn't reach Akira's first day. Either way Sonakshi films had good openings for it's genre as reported by BOI even Lootera or Tevar.

We aren't talking about the total collections. TWMR isn't a woman centric film to begin with. Never was. It's a movie dominated by Kangana's characters. As even Kangana and Anand L Rai said. You guys are forgetting TWMR was also a sequel to a clean hit which had Madhavan and Kangana in it. You also forget that he is a known south actor. Why couldn't Katti Batti open and sustain in it's first weekend? Look at Katti Batti's opening weekend - 15cr compared to 17cr of Akira

But again, that shouldn't be the deciding criteria for BOI's rankings. Even if that affects brand endorsements in an actor's kitty, it doesn't affect the movies an actor is offered. And Kangu's movies despite the occasional Revolver Rani, I love NY, Katti Batti still fared better than Sona's.

We live in a society where a girl gets judged before she is born. Plus Kangana gives them fodder for the general people to not like her much. Despite being a good actor she does not have good image before people. She might be popular on IF, woman sites etc. But there is a world beyond where is not much popular.

Nobody goes to watch Kangana 😆 It is only the scripts of TWM, TWMR and Queen which were very good. Katti Batti collections showed Kangana's so called star power 😆 😆 😆
Akira script was nothing exceptional even then people went to watch it and made good collections.
