A Respite

Today was a respite for me as a viewer because for a change we saw something other than pure drama.The muh dikhai rasam was a torture to watch but we got some good positive scenes as well .

Ishwari- Cunning as ever, no word spoken in favour of Sonakshi in absence of Dev but as soon as Dev appears and speaks up, how could she leave any opportunity to prove her wholehearted acceptance and love towards her DIL.After all she has to keep up the appearance in front of her son,otherwise how will he continue to regard her as his God.Also she cannot let the society question his choice, can she?She has to maintain the goody goody image.

Was it only me who felt the way she covered Sonakshi's face with pallu was pretty rude?It looked like she wanted Sonakshi to just shut up.

I just can't accept Ishwari's sweetness at face value.

The first scene was a good one.An apology from both sides and a fresh start to a new day.The romance was cute but as Sona pointed out "In-Laws"😆

Dev- Yes, Dev very good.You defended your wife in front of outsiders. Dev said" I am lucky to find a girl like Sonakshi who not only respects everybody but is also strong,independent and the best nutritionist in town"

Now this is exactly how we expect you to defend her to your family as well when she is insulted. A stranger's words don't pinch as much as a family member's words.You don't need to shout or protest, few words spoken calmly would work just fine.You didn't see it, but those few words that you spoke made Sonakshi very happy because all she expects is support from her husband.If she gets that, she will happily face the world with a smile on her face.Now just remember to stand up for her in front of your family as well.You were proud to see Sonakshi standing up for herself, right? That's one of the things that made you fall in love with her.Keep that pride on your face even on the day she stands up for herself in front of your mother.Support her even then.

Sonakshi-You slayed it girl! You are no timid girl who would accept insults from anybody.

"I was too busy studying,fulfilling my parents dreams and becoming independent to give a thought to things like diamond necklace" Wohooo!!

Then her reply to Buaji's rude question(Lady who are you to ask her earnings in front of the world?)

"I earn enough to take care of my family without having to call myself as Gareeb Ki Beti(Ooh Burn)"

And mamaji was a cherry on top when he agreed and appreciated Sonakshi.

The short scene between Sona,Nikki,Riya and Neha was sweet as well. Unfortunately Bua interrupted the moment with her sharp tongue.

Next I would mention the scene that made me go Awww:The scene between Bijoy and Asha.

It was such a sweet scene.A father reminiscing all those moments he spent with his cherished daughter, a father who gave away a piece of his heart to another person, a father who is proud to have Sonakshi as a daughter,a father who still can't believe that his little doll is no longer living in his home.He is not only a good father, but a good husband as well as correctly stated by Asha.He understands Asha's value in his life, loves and respect her not only as a wife but also as a best friend.They are both indeed lucky to have found each other and make such a beautiful family and life for themselves.

Saurab's timing could have been a little better.He should have just requested to talk in private.But even then, as per precap, I think he very respectfully puts his point in front of Dev.

I agree that Ishwari plays a GOD-sent angel before Dev and never shows her true personality in front of him. Doing so Ishwari will take away all the sympathy Sona deserves from Dev due to Ishu's misbehavior in Dev's absence. I wont call today's episode as starting of Ishwari's redemption .She needs an overall improvement as a human being and must come out of her spilt personality strategy.😡

Same goes for Dev as well. It feels really good to see Dev taking a stand for his wife in front outsiders but what about his own family who is always critical, disapproving and fault-finding with Sona ? When it comes to his family and his Mom specially, he is acting all weird and distant. Dev always chose to ignore Sona when it comes to taking a responsibility to reconcile between Sona and his family. In his mind he knows that things are not right but he just doesn't wanna deal with it. IGNORANCE IS NOT AN ULIMATE SOLUTION.

we have seen strain developing in DevSona relationship due to Dev's ignorance . he gotta do something.

Her contrasting acts are really mind boggling.But she is no where even near starting her journey of acceptance or redemption.This is all fake sweetness.

True.The ultimate test for Dev would be when his family does something that requires him to speak up.For that he needs to acknowledge the truth.Living in denial is certainly not gonna help him.Today was a step in the right direction. Hopefully he continues to do so.

Well mooh dikhai doenst happen now a days..and in such a traditional way toh definitely doesn;t happen ..with neighbors coming in and one by one peeping inside ghoonghat is absurd ..well, then with buaj iaround you cant expect all orthodox rasams happening ..anyways..it wasnt stretched thank god for that..

Agreed.It doesn't happen with such strict and rigid rules.It's all done in fun and frolic manner( if it does take place)Otherwise a lot of people skip this rasam.

I couldnt read Ishwari's face when she covered Sona's head ..she was blank..

Dev Sona supporting each other was the best part ..they need to stand for each other on every step..and specially in front of Ishwari..coz thats gonna be the toughest challenge ..mami bua r least important..how mazingly Sona said "shut up"..clap worthy 👏..they both need to speak at right time right place ..I dont want then to be rude shouting or insulting but be sharp rough and smart..

Yes, their support for each other would be their strength.And they can both do so respectfully as evident from today. The real challenge will be Ishwari. Let's hope they face it together.

Ishwari definately supprted Sona coz She cant say anything in front of Dev obviously..bas ab ye dekhna hai how long she can do this ..and waiting for the day she reveals herself in front of him..that day will be the real test for Dev ..how and how much he will support Sona..I have full faith in him ..I want him to be MAN of the house..showing its his life his choices his wife..his house his business and his money..etc..for once want him to dictate terms instead of Ish or Sona :)

Ishwari is very manipulative but her facade is bound to slip someday.Dev just needs to see it with open eyes.

Neah Sona scene was adorable..I wish it hadnt been interrupted by bua GRR..even Nikki Riya were sweet..Infact Ranveer is also sch a sweet fellow..so understanding I hope he remains th same :)

Though I feel sad for Asha but I dont feel the same for Bijoy anymore :(..He hasnt been any better then an adamant insulting person from the moment wedding ceremonies started and now too he keeps getting angry..why cant he react a little calmly

I can understand his reactions.He has still not accepted the Dixits because of the past events.But Asha and his mother make him realise that anger is not the way to go. He'll reach there with time. If he reacts with anger without reason at Dxits, then I would be upset with his actions but he is just expressing it at his home so it's fine.

Mamaji is my MOSTEST fav person in the family ..oh he is a gem ❤️

PS - Dev looked quite sexy in that blue kurta..oh freaking guy ..jis din se hair cut karaya hai ..he is looking breathtaking every moment ..😆

😆This is a tried and tested formula for her.She will keep her facade to keep her image in front of Dev.And when he is gone,she won't be able to hide her true colors from Sona.

Devji it's easy to shut outsider mouths but what about family members, we don't want you to fight with your family members,just in calm and composure manner you can make them understand .

The promo does give a very cliched Saas bahu drama indication.Kitchen politics,drama.Nooo😆Let's hope Sona continues to act maturely because Ishwari surely won't.
