I am Naj, I used to be insanely active on this Forum those ages ago, then I had severe paucity of time, had no time for IF, now that I do, I don't visit here that often.
Oh, I used to write as well -
I know, most of you here are very happy that DevAkshi are finally married, 'happily ever after' so and so forth. So, my post might come off as a dampener, I am expecting some bashing as well. But, hey, I can express my opinion, can I not? 😳
Till June, I followed the show, and then kind of stopped. But even then, I have been in touch with it on and off. So I pretty much know what is the progress of the show.
I think it was going on a pretty decent and realistic track until Dev confessed to his Mom that he loved Sonakshi. Since then, I have found the characters of Dev, Ishwari and Sonakshi to be very undefined and convoluted.
Most importantly, Ishwari. The show that started off on a very different note, has taken a crude turn towards Ishwari. Whenever I see now, I see Ishwari everywhere in the show.
Her apparent dislike towards Sonakshi seems VERY off to me, and irritating as well.
Like, which mother does not have the marriage feast in her own son's wedding? I am not sure how many of you believe in this, but it is considered to be a great 'Apshagun' if guests leave without having lunch or dinner.
They are insisted on having at least some sweet. And, here at her own son's wedding despite her non veg and veg stipulations, she did not have anything. I mean, what even.
She clearly is not happy with the marriage.
Like, Neha fell in love with her teacher. She was okay with that personal cum professional equation. The same thing with DevAkshi she had a problem with.😕
I am sure, amidst all the cute DevAkshi scenes, you guys have noticed this too. 😊
Secondly, the last one or two episodes. Yesterday and today. This is already cliched and tried and tested.
And KRPKAB was a show that was different and realistic. The same taunts, some Daadi Bua character who is cynical and mocking.
Where was she when Neha was getting married?😆
And yesterday's precap, it is going the tested path throughout.
Secondly, I saw IF articles about Maa VS Biwi and I was just like, Bro, have we not seen this before.
This was not supposed to be like this, was it?
I remember the first promos of the show, and the elegance and aura they portrayed.
And now I see these Saas bahu and Muh Dikhayi scenes.

Now, that is all. I guess all of you got the gist.
I am sure DevAkshi are an amazing couple. And, hey, Bade Bade Shows Mein Aisi Choti Choti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hai. And a lot of you might ignore these progressions for your OTP.

Which is all nice and acceptable. It is a Hindi show. Some drama is required. TRP, audience. Agreed. But, somewhere, personally, I feel, the truest essence of the show, its unique representation of the same formula is lost.
Anyhow, I wish all of you guys a lot of luck and lot of fun, in this Forum!
P.S. Some of you, I have VERY closely interacted with here, and I miss you guys. I will start watching BehYad and Chandranandini, hopefully. I wish and hope I meet at least a few of you there.
